An incredibly great early morning experience in Luxor. Was picked up at the hotel by friendly staff from the company. Recommended 👍🏼
A magical experience ↓🏼 Picked up early in the morning at the hotel by friendly staff from the company. Boat over the Nile, then car to the area where the balloons were ready 👍🏼

Agency to avoid but activity recommend
An attractive price for the sunrise in a hot air balloon: That was what we chose this schedule and price for. We were charged an extra $10 per person to be in VIP. This exchange of money was the first thing requested by the organizer. The agency did not know how to follow the schedules, the pick-up took place too late, we waited almost 1 hour in the pick-up bus at the barracks when our bus was full.
The result: when you arrive on site dozens of hot air balloons are already high in the sky and the sun already raised.
We will blame only the organizers, profiteers and disorganized and wish instead to place a very positive emphasis on the teams preparing the balloons, are of an unparalleled kindness and kindness. It remains a wonderful memory.

Well worth the 4:45am wakeup
Best activity we did in Luxor by far.
It could have been better explained as to what was happening and how many people would be in our balloon, but the views and experience negated that.
Only improvements would be better communication from the company.

Excellent Balloon Ride but awful communication from tour company leading upto it. Cancelled once, didn’t chase for passports so then didn’t pick us up on the day. Rebooked for the following day which was ok but this was rushed for us as we leave the same day. Although we paid through Viator we were asked for payment in cash again and they would refund us on card our original payment. We declined this along with other people as this should not be happening. It seems all they want is cash !!!! DO NOT PAY AGAIN We were told we have been messaged about this but NO we hadn’t been. Don’t think I would be using them again in the future!!

Incredible hot air...
Incredible hot air balloon ride over Luxor West Bank overlooking the nile. Our pilot was entertaining, knowledgeable and a very experienced pilot. Smooth flights. Only “negative” part what that there was poor communication when we arrived at the launch site - we stood around waiting to start, and our sunrise flight was delayed until after the sun was already up. Only once we were in the hot air balloon did the pilot explain that they were asked to delay the flight due to poor flight conditions early in the morning as well as traffic at the launch site - all reasonable, but it would have been nice to have had this explained to us while we were standing around waiting to start our trip.

Amazing experience
Bucket list. Amazing. Massively exceeded expectations. Even if the begging felt a bit confusing, they find organizational in the caos. Just go with it.

Feel the fear and do it anyway!
Watching the sunrise over the Valley of the Kings and Queens amongst the company of 50 or so balloons is an incredible experience; a real visual feast. It was an extremely slick operation to get so many balloons dispatched and collected simultaneously. Our pilot was confident, skilled and humorous.
We did have some anxiety about safety and this could have been improved. There was no safety briefing other than a few shouted words about how to land safely once we were onboard, lost amongst the sound of the heater; men sat on the balloon fabric ahead of lift off, using it as an improvised picnic style rug; and there were 32 of us in our basket.
However, despite this, I felt that our pilot knew what he was doing and indeed, the trip seemed perfectly executed, with a feather light landing. So we were glad that our fears didn’t stop us taking the ride.
