The Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as Deir el-Bahari, is an ancient Egyptian funerary temple located on the west bank of the Nile River near the city of Luxor. It was built for Queen Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs in ancient Egypt, who ruled during the 15th century BCE (approximately 1479-1458 BCE). The Temple of Hatshepsut is considered one of the most remarkable architectural achievements of ancient Egypt. It was designed by Senenmut.

The statues depict Amenhotep III seated on his throne, and each statue stands about 18 meters (60 feet) tall, weighing approximately 700 tons. Excellent experience take a fan for cooling

Valley of the kings was excellent however there is little to no shade and walking through the Bazaars was unnecessary. Our ticket included 3 tombs but not King Tut that was extra. You will also need 20 egyptian pounds per person for the golf cart and it’s a long walk from the ticket office. The same at Hatshepsut’s Temple little to no shade and walking through the bazaars and golf cart to the temple at 20 Egyptian pounds each. Be careful not to accept the cardboard makeshift fans from the ticket collectors in the tombs as they want money on returning the make shift fan. Our guide and driver were excellent, thank you Mena and Mahmoud.

Interesting tour Valley of the kings

Mena collected us from our hotel on time. Mahmoud was our driver. Mena was very knowledgeable and made our tour to the Valley of the kings, Hatshepsut Temple, very interesting. we called into a factory where Alabaster was on sale. Mena told us lots of history about each place we visited and provided us with lots of water to drink as it was very hot. We were fortunate to see lots of streets where local Egyptians lived and worked. We were brought back to our hotel safely

✨ Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Tour with Abdo ✨

Abdo is an amazing guide! On the way to the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut, he shared so many stories and made Egyptian history come alive. He’s easy to talk to, answers every question patiently, and never rushes—you can go at the pace and route you prefer. I visited the tombs of Ramesses IV, IX, and III, plus King Tut’s tomb. King Tut’s tomb is small, but worth seeing if you’re interested—it’s a special experience. All four tombs were definitely worth going. 5 out of 5 — highly recommend Abdo and this tour!

Excellent

Abdo is a very good guide, he was patient, we took our time to take pictures and see the temples, he is a guide in English and I explained that a lot of English did not drive, and he had no problems. He was patient, he explained things to me more than once. The vehicle comfortable, with air conditioning. I highly recommend it, they were patient and handled everything normal, they looked for me from the hotel at 10am and 13.30 we are finishing, I hope you buy more water, if you give a bottle of water but recommendation, take more. And he offered us ice cream. I had no boat transfer, the whole tour was by car waiting in the puetta of the temples that there you enter golf cart. Anyway, super recommended
