  2. 2 hours

The Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as Deir el-Bahari, is an ancient Egyptian funerary temple located on the west bank of the Nile River near the city of Luxor. It was built for Queen Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs in ancient Egypt, who ruled during the 15th century BCE (approximately 1479-1458 BCE). The Temple of Hatshepsut is considered one of the most remarkable architectural achievements of ancient Egypt. It was designed by Senenmut.

They are all that remains of a larger mortuary temple complex built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III during the 14th century BCE (approximately 1350-1334 BCE). The statues depict Amenhotep III seated on his throne, and each statue stands about 18 meters (60 feet) tall, weighing approximately 700 tons. Very good experience.

We are a couple that traveled freely without agencies and without a big budget. It is the company that gave us the best value for money. We had to pay a little more for the guide in Spanish but it was worth it, they pick you up and explain everything very well Ahmed was very respectful and friendly, he did not overwhelm to buy anything or to ask for tips and that is very appreciated in Egypt. He explained everything very well and even helped us with other visits that we will make on our own. Very happy to have lived the experience.

Super, godna polecenia wycieczka!

Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple & Mamnon with Abdel!

We were accompanied by a very friendly and knowledgeable guide named Abdel. He explained everything in a clear and digestible way and waited patiently as we explored each area. By the end of the tour, we were sad to say goodbye but grateful to have a new friend and a plethora of knowledge about Egyptian history. Highly recommend Abdel! His tour was the best that we had during our trip!

Abdel was the best tour guide we had in Egypt!! He had a deep knowledge of every site he took us to and allowed us to take our time. His English was great and his explanations were thorough especially because he could actually read the Hieroglyphics!! I would highly suggest him to anybody looking to actually learn about Egyptian history

Half day West Bank Tour with Ahmed Abdulteif

Our guide Ahmed Abdulteif was incredible! From communication prior to the tour, and prompt pick up from the hotel, it made the experience so seamless. We had a great and safe driver, Safwan, with a comfortable and clean car. We booked the half day West Bank tour through Booking.com and it did not disappoint. We started early at 05:30 to beat the heat and Ahmed picked the perfect route- he had also arranged all our tickets prior which we would highly recommend. Our first stop was at the colossi of Memnon- we were the only people there and Ahmed took great photos! We next went to Valley of the Kings (including King Tut tomb) and Ahmed was so knowledgable and gave us enough time to explore on our own. We stopped at the alabaster museum and headed to Queen Hatshepsut temple which was amazing. Overall we would definitely recommend Ahmed and Safwan for a personalised tour!

Great trip and tour guide

Ammar arrived on time and was very helpful and knowledgeable. The trip was well paced and Ammar tailored the tour to suit our needs when our daughter became a little tired and hot in the midday sun. We would highly recommend a tour with Ammar and wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again when we return to Luxor.

Very nice half day tour of the West Bank in Luxor

Abdelwahab the tourguide was extremely passionate and knowledgable on the tombs in the valley of the kings and the other things we saw in our half day Luxor trip. His specialty is hieroglyphics which he studied in his degree. Mahmoud the driver was also very kind and we used him for our airport transfer later on. The car was nice and modern. These guys will look after you!
