What you'll see

  1. Karnak Open Air Museum
    2 hours

Discover the awe-inspiring Temple of Karnak, the largest religious complex ever built in ancient Egypt. Located on Luxor’s East Bank, this vast open-air museum was developed over more than 2,000 years and dedicated primarily to the powerful god Amun-Ra. Walk through the magnificent Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 towering columns, admire the sacred lake, towering obelisks, and intricately carved hieroglyphics that tell stories of pharaohs and gods. Karnak is not just a temple, but a monumental testament to the glory, faith, and architectural genius of ancient Thebes during the height of Egypt’s New Kingdom civilization.

  2. Luxor Temple

Experience the timeless beauty of Luxor Temple, one of ancient Egypt’s most elegant and well-preserved monuments. Located in the heart of modern Luxor, this majestic temple was primarily built by Amenhotep III and later expanded by Ramses II. Dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship and the god Amun-Ra, the temple features grand colonnades, massive statues, towering obelisks, and beautifully preserved hieroglyphics. As you walk along the Avenue of Sphinxes leading to its impressive entrance, you will feel the grandeur of ancient Thebes.
