  2. Temple of Hatshepsut
    1 hour

It is 97 feet (30 m) tall. The unusual form of Hatshepsut's temple is explained by the choice of location, in the valley basin of Deir el-Bahari, surrounded by steep cliffs. Great visits with relaxed and enthousiast guide Rady

/ flexible booking with the agency: we planned last minute and were able to get a good trip on request / couple, everything private for us 2 / great guide Rady, very knowledgeable, trustworthy / they planned our drivers+car for Hurghada-Luxor-Aswan-Luxor and the visits. Excl. tickets. / we split in 2 half days the Luxor guided visits: Karnak, Luxor temple and Valley of kings. Must do’s. / guide is nice for some context, info, and tips The guide asked very openly if yes/no we were interested to see perfumes, papyrus and stone shops/workplaces. The former 2 ‘goverment run’ (aka no pushing). It was all OK interesting, you’re not expected or forced to buy (still Egypt of course). I wouldn’t advise against going. Drivers were nice and decent cars for Egypt. Flexible and last minute planning was nice (2nd week of January). We visited Luxor museum on our own. Nice because there’s mummies there. Not a must if you don’t have time. Overall very happy. No idea if we paid the right price but it seems very OK.

Yasmina was excellent!

Yasmina was an incredible guide in Spanish and had everything organized for us, including ticket lunch and good places to buy Alabaster Stone. One of us was sick and she also stopped in a drugstore for us.

The driver (Bogy) was on time and very kind. We arrived before all the tourist at the first monument and could really enjoy the time there. All explanations were clear and I could understand the history. Very good guide (Huissen)

Thank you to Mena! 😊👌

We were picked up on time by Mena at the hotel early in the morning. We did all the planned activities with explanations and time to visit the monuments on our own. Very good explanations, and we thank Mena for her patience, as we don't speak English very well. Luxor is a city that we preferred to Cairo for its monuments, and Mena was able to give us a great experience. It was an enriching experience! Thank you for your kindness. We finished on a high note with a typical Egyptian restaurant and an additional visit to two factories (papyrus and perfumes). Many thanks! Thank you to Mena for taking such good care of us!

Unseen!

A must do when you are in Luxor. If you haven't already come here for this?! Beautiful complex. You are really impressed once you stand next to those statues or columns! Shout out to Adam/Ahmed. One of the best guides I had.
