Kind guide, good day out in Luxor

Good day out covering both banks of Luxor. My guide was kind and helpful. When I came down with a stomach bug mid-tour, she took me to a pharmacy for medicine, which I really appreciated. All the planned sights were covered. It would be even better with fewer shopping stops.

I want to tour the ruins at my own pace, not with a guide, so I took a taxi...

I chartered a taxi so I could tour the ruins at my own pace, instead of with a guide. The car is a Mitsubishi SUV, and the new AC worked well and the ride comfort was good. Driver Eslam was also a hit. I was offered extra tours, lunch, souvenirs, etc., but I declined everything because they were all "if you want" and not pushy at all, and the driver was good because he didn't react badly when I said "ok." The sunglasses suited you too. She was happy when I gave her a tip.

Amazing full day in Luxor!

We had a fantastic experience with Emo Tours Egypt, with Sam as our guide. Sam was extremely knowledgeable and we learnt so much throughout the tour. He gave us plenty of helpful guidance and we really enjoyed the way he explained each site before giving us some free time to explore and take everything in at our own pace. We also stopped at an alabaster workshop and store, which gave us the opportunity to see how the pieces are made and purchase items (in USD) if we wanted to. Our driver was excellent as well. The car was very clean, the air conditioning was great, and we felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the tour. Overall, a really enjoyable and well-organised experience. We would definitely recommend Emo Tours Egypt and especially Sam as a guide!

Great for solo

I worked with Ahmed and Kassem and they were great! I was solo so we were able to be flexible and stay shorter/longer at each stop depending on what I wanted. Very knowledgeable and never felt like I was a bother. 10/10!

This tour is everything you need to see Luxor

Amazing tour! This tour included everything that we wanted to go see. Loved that this was private so we were able to customize it and spend shorter/longer time at places. Our guide & driver were fantastic (forgot their names so sorry). They picked us up at our hotel, made our way down to all the sites. We felt like we had a good amount of time at each one. Tour guiding is not allowed inside many of the places so our guide gave us tons of info before we went in. Our guide was so knowledgable & knew the answers to all our questions. He was also very patient and good at taking photos. The place we ate lunch at was delicious. We also stopped by a sculpture, carpet, and a papyrus place. We bought a sculpture & carpet but didn’t end up buying anything from the papyrus. It is fun to see how each thing is made.
