The Hurghada Museum is the first antiquities museum in Egypt’s Red Sea region, offering visitors a unique journey through Egypt’s history and culture. Opened in 2020, the museum displays more than 1,500 artifacts from different eras including Pharaonic, Greco-Roman, Coptic, Islamic, and modern times. Located in the heart of Hurghada, this modern and family-friendly museum showcases treasures such as royal statues, ancient jewelry, tools of daily life, and even mummies. Each exhibit tells the story of Egypt’s long and diverse heritage, making it an ideal stop for both history lovers and casual visitors. With its spacious galleries, clear signage in multiple languages, and professional presentation, the Hurghada Museum provides a relaxed and educational experience away from the crowds. It is one of the city’s most important cultural landmarks and a perfect complement to a Red Sea holiday.
Hurghada Marina is a modern seafront promenade and lifestyle hub on the Red Sea, offering a vibrant mix of relaxation, dining, and nightlife. Stretching along the harbor, the Marina is lined with luxury yachts, stylish cafés, international restaurants, and boutique shops, making it a favorite spot for both locals and visitors. By day, it’s the perfect place for a relaxed stroll, enjoying the sea breeze and scenic views of the Red Sea. By night, the Marina comes alive with music, shisha lounges, and a lively atmosphere. Hurghada Grand Mosque El Mina Mosque is Hurghada’s largest and most impressive place of worship, known for its striking white domes, tall minarets, and stunning Islamic architecture. Overlooking the Red Sea near the harbor, this iconic mosque is a symbol of faith and culture in the city. Visitors can admire the intricate design, marble details, and peaceful courtyard while learning about the traditions of Islam. Guided visits often include explanations of prayer rituals and the mosque’s role in community life. At sunset, El Mina Mosque is especially beautiful, with its illuminated minarets reflecting over the harbor. It is one of Hurghada’s must-see landmarks for those interested in architecture, culture, and photography.

For visitors, shopping here is both safe and enjoyable, with many vendors offering fixed prices for souvenirs and essentials, making it a stress-free experience compared to bargaining. Coptic Cathedral of Saint Shenouda The Coptic Cathedral of Saint Shenouda is Hurghada’s most important Christian landmark and a peaceful place of worship in the heart of the city. Dedicated to Saint Shenouda, one of Egypt’s revered saints, the cathedral is known for its elegant domes, beautiful icons, and intricate woodwork. Visitors are welcomed into a calm and spiritual atmosphere, where they can admire the traditional Coptic designs, colorful stained glass, and richly decorated altar. The cathedral is still an active place of worship, giving guests the chance to observe Egypt’s Christian heritage in a living context. We were contacted by Tarek, our guide the day before just to confirm everything. Tarek arrived on time and was very welcoming and knowledgeable with all aspects of the city. We visited the real Hurghada, food markets places of religious worship and all with the expert guidance of Tarek. We purchased food from the bakery, delicious. Spoke a lot about Egypt, both ancient and modern and Tarek was able to give different perspectives on all topics. Tarek was a very knowledgeable, passionate guide, clearly loves to meet people and enjoys giving guided tours of Hurghada City. great day and would highly recommend this tour company. we will be back in 2027 and will be booking further tours with Tarek and his team.

We booked a citytour trough Hurghada. And we had a really good time with our guide Tarek. He speaks really good English and showed us all the beautiful spots in Hurghada. He didn’t rush and took good care of us. I really recommend to book a tour with the guide Tarek.

Had a fantastic day out with Tarek at the museum and the tour of the city. We booked expecting a guided tour of the museum and a quick run round the town and dropped off at the shops. But it was easily one of the best tours ive done. We got a guided tour round the museum, a walk along the marina where we stopped for a drink and we swapped stories from Scotland and Egypt. He even taught us a bit of Arabic. We then went to the Hurghada Mosque and then onto the Fish Market, Cathedral and Food Market. Tarek really was the perfect guide and he made us feel like we had known him for years, went at our own pace and laughed and joked with us the whole day. Would 100% use again and recommend to anyone. Shokran!

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our day out. We were collected and transported for the day in a comfortable car with air conditioning. We visited the hugharda Museum, and our guide, tarek, was knowledgeable, explaining all about the artefacts we saw. It was great to be guided around parts of hurghada that we wouldn't have seen had we not booked this tour. We were well looked after, and I highly recommend.

Tarek has been an amazing guide for us in this immersive experience of Hurghada city and the Archaeological museum. He picked us up right from our hotel and we visited Hurghada Marina, toured the fish market and explored the biggest Mosque in the city and even an Orthodox cathedral. We made three shopping stops at a traditional food market, a perfume/essence shop and a souvenir shop. Never have ever felt pressured to buy something. The food we bought at the market was very tasty. The last stop was the Archaeological museum where Tarek, with his Egyptology degree, explained the history behind the artifacts and treasures displayed from the Egyptian, Roman, Kopt, Muslim and Ottoman times. All in all we recommend this tour 100%
