Great day on the history of Egypt

An unforgettable excursion on the trail of Egypt's history! We were lucky and a very great, competent and warm tour guide Hanana. Big thanks also to our driver who brought us safely and calmly (this is not a given here). So we can highly recommend the tour despite the long drive (from Hurghada)!

I wouldn't recommend it.

So I have mixed feelings about this one, part of it was brilliant but a lot of it was a big con job. So firstly the "air conditioned" bus didn't have it on for 3 quarters of the day and was swelteringly hot. At one point it reached 28°C and only then did they put it on. The tour guide was great and very knowledgeable however he had a real bee in his bonnet about the new museum and was moaning and complaining about it all day. We were rushed through the old Egyptian museum, literally only seeing about 5 of the exhibits. The other "museums" are just shops, they give you a very brief 5 minute talk about oils/papyrus and then try to sell you them. The nile cruise was rubbish. Saw nothing and absolutely not worth the money. Just half an hour up the river and back and no palaces or historic buildings. The people at the pyramids, even the ones recommended by the guide as trustworthy ripped everyone off. The camel or horse carriage was extra and they wanted more in tips than we paid for the privilege. Apparently they don't understand the word no and will keep harassing you and moaning on. 10 euros for the ride, same or more for the tip, that was no more than 10 minutes. But learning about the pyramids and sphinx was good, everything else was rubbish.

Wonderful experience

As a solo traveler I can honestly say I had a great time. Be prepared for an all day experience. The drive from Hurghada to Cairo is long but completely worth it. I was pick up from Primalife resort and hotel by a minivan then transferred onto a coach bus. After maybe 6 hours out of driving with stops we have entered into Cairo where we went to the museum then cruise ride on the Nile river ( I opted. It to do it ) then after we went to and oils and perfumes then to the pyramids. Tour guide was great she educated up on a lot of Egyptian history. Overall had a great time!

Coach trip tough, but worth the experience

Bus trip of 8 hours was very tough. Especially for tall people. Furthermore, had a great time, can take beautiful pictures. definitely recommended if you have the bus trip for it.

Overall very good

Very well! It's a long bus ride, but it's all worth it. Will 100 percent recommend it to others. We had a super cute older guide named Hanna. However, you can easily see that the camels were not treated well.

Cairo Day Tours Egypt – An Unforgettable One-Day Experience

I recently explored Cairo day tours in Egypt, and honestly, it was an unforgettable experience. If you’re short on time but still want to see the real magic of Cairo, a day tour is the perfect option. The tour covered all the must-see attractions like the Great Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum, and even a local bazaar visit. Everything was well organized, from hotel pickup to drop-off. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained the history in a very simple and interesting way. What I loved most about cairo day tours egypt was how comfortable and time-saving they are. You don’t have to worry about transport, tickets, or planning—everything is handled professionally. It’s ideal for families, couples, and even solo travelers. If anyone is planning to visit Egypt and wants to explore Cairo in a single day, I’d definitely recommend choosing a reliable Cairo day tour. It’s totally worth it and gives you lifelong memories
