It was there that they were buried, for example, Thutmose II, Tutankhamun, and Ramses. Like a trip to a National Geographic documentary

Enthusiastic about a trip to Cairo, the five of us – with three children – spontaneously took a day trip to Luxor with Memnon Tours. Our guide Nasch – enthusiastic, highly competent, himself a university professor and author of over 100 publications – not only showed us around, but took us on a journey through time. It felt like we were in the middle of a National Geographic documentary: We stood together in front of millennia-old temple walls, got a short, exciting crash course in hieroglyphics and mythology – and suddenly read the Chronicles of the Pharaohs ourselves. The most impressive: Nasch suggested to forgo one or the other tourist hotspot and visit the “hidden gems”. We couldn’t resist this – and stood alone in some spectacular places. Magic. A day full of impressive images, exciting stories and exclusive insights. Highly recommended.

TOP - an experience without wishes

An unforgettable day, thanks to perfect organization! Booking remotely on the Internet is one of those things, but here all concerns have been taken away from us. After an uncomplicated communication and the resulting reservation, it has resulted in an equally wonderful day that we will not soon forget. With 2 drivers we went to Luxor at 4:00 in the morning. We were picked up on time and what we found very pleasant: 1. we were not immediately asked for the money, this came only when returned 2. for sufficient drinks and it was already very warm, was sufficiently taken care of So, absolute plus for the start! After arriving in Luxor, we welcomed our guide Nasch, who immediately wiped away our tiredness with vivid stories and prepared us for the hours ahead. In addition, I would like to mention this explicitly, we were offered alternatives to the sights, since we had seen the Temple of Nefertiti before, for example. No problem for Nasch - he had something else to offer. Toll! I anticipate, not a minute of this journey has been boring, repetitive or marked by anything you have known before. Starting with Karnak, the Valley of Kings, the Memnon Colossi - Nash brought Egypt to life, introduced us to the culture of the language and explained with one or two proofs that Egypt is the cradle of all languages. By the way - we were constantly the first at the sights and could actually take pictures without crowds. The day trip was rounded off by a boat trip across the Nile to our restaurant where we had a culinary refreshment. After this eventful day, we arrived back at our hotel well protected around 18:00. I would like to thank you for the great organization, ride and guided tours (Ottoman/Chicko and Nasch). Many greetings Stefan

VIP Tour to Luxor from Marsa Alam

I was always skeptical about the long journeys and whether it would be worth it. Now I can say: It's absolutely worth it. Starting with the quick and hassle-free booking of the excursion. Continue with the punctual pickup by our driver, who had a very pleasant driving style and (very valuable at 47 degrees in Luxor) a cooler with drinks. As a guide, Nasch accompanied us through Luxor. I was also initially skeptical here whether it was true that an Egyptologist was leading us. It's true! With his knowledge (he has verifiably published over 60 books) and enthusiasm for ancient Egypt, he brings history to life. He talks about details that you certainly can't learn from Wikipedia or any other guide. Due to his recommendations on the order of visits to the individual sights, we not only had no waiting times due to visitor lines, but were able to take many unique photos for us without other people in the pictures. Summarizing: unforgettable.

Amazing 2 day of Diving into egyptian culture

Loved the cultural deep dive, with our knowlegable and flexible Guide & driver!! 2 days we're perfect to not overstretch the days but enjoy every second of it. Perfect Organisation. Only thing we didnt Like was whether there is no other Option than having lunch in places where Guides and drivers are not meant to sit alongside with the tourists. Great Tour, would recommend!

Sensational day trip to Luxor!

Sensational day trip to Luxor!! From the pick-up, to the drive to Luxor, the company there by the absolutely knowledgeable and remarkable guide, Osama - such an incredibly knowing person (!), the food in the restaurant & the return journey, a great experience. We have always felt very safe and the explanations, even on the road, from the driver -Mahmoud (very good driver) - very much enjoyed in terms of country, people and customs. Our guide to Luxor, Osama, was outstanding! We would have wanted to follow his remarks for days! Whether explaining hieroglyphics or why and why, of historical and secular contexts - he could explain everything in a unique way. We are thrilled & give 100% recommendation. We simply trusted his assessment of the rush and influx of tourists - that's why we were always there before the big run on the sites! Thank you!!! Greetings Robert and Tatiana

Luxor experience you must not mis

We recently had a great experience with Memnon Reisen, their driver Ibrahim and guide Harby. We had limited time and had the one-day experience to Luxor. We were picked up early from our hotel on Hurghada. Our drive was faster than most agencies advertised and we had a very nice private car with AC, water and snacks. Both Ibrahim and Herby were very smartly dressed and we could see they paid a lot of attention to detail. We stopped once on the way to Luxor for a coffee break and Herby had a lot of information of the sites along our road. In Luxor our trip was planned to mis most of the crowds. We had amazing sites and some great pictures due to this. Herby is extremely knowledgeable and we were emerged in an ancient history filled with wonder. We had time for a few extra stops and we can recommend Herby’s recommendation for a boat ride on the nile. Private and again a great experience. Our lunch was at a very nice local restaurant. I think many tourist would mis it as its a little off to the side of the river. The food was traditional, the service amazing and we could not recommend this enough if you are looking for real Egyptian food. We were back at our hotel nice snd early with some time to enjoy the red sea before dinner. Herby was an absolute legend, he shielded us from all the obnoxious venders and steered us to most incredible sites and experiences. Ibrahim was courteous and a professional driver, his appearance and car speaks of great pride in what he does. Thank you for making such a trip so amazing.
