After visiting the Pyramids of Giza, visit the Great Sphinx, by far the largest surviving sphinx. It consists of a human head on the body of a lion. The Sphinx was carved from the remains of a limestone hill that served as a quarry for the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Felucca cruise on the Nile is available for a fee.
Around 4am you will be picked up from your hotel. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by your guide who will accompany you throughout the tour.
Meet your Egyptology tour guide at the museum to begin your day. Visit the state-of-the-art Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the world's largest archaeological museum with over 100,000 artifacts, or the Ancient Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Select your preferred museum during the booking process.

The further course of the excursion takes you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The tour of the pyramids ends at the Sphinx and the temple surrounding it. At the end of the day, if time permits, you will have the opportunity to go shopping before embarking on the return journey to Hurghada.
If the return flight from Cairo is late in the evening, we will spend some time visiting the London of the Middle Ages (Khan el Klalili market), Old Cairo, recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage list, or Cairo Festival City, an extra-large shopping mall (air-conditioned), one of the largest in the Middle East. Full of the most famous international brands, restaurants, cafes and a huge colorful dancing fountain, where you will be drawn to Cairo's chic, modern nightlife.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in an air-conditioned car.
If we have time, we can make two characteristic visits to the Papyrus Museum and the Essential Oil Factory. These two attractions will familiarize you with the ancient Egyptian techniques of making papyrus and essences. These two interesting visits will increase your knowledge of daily life in ancient Egypt and will also be helpful to the Egyptian farmers who work in these sectors and preserve these very old handicrafts from ancient Egypt. (These visits depend on the time remaining.)
Afterwards, your mind needs some rest. You can, for example, relax with a boat trip on the Nile and discover Cairo from the water.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

We had a beautiful day in Cairo full of new and renewed impressions which our Tourguide Dr. Mamdouh Osman helps to make it real. The Time we had to visit Gize and the NEW Egypt Museum was sufficient and relaxed to enable us to see everything we are interested in (Its always good to do both in the first half of the day). Our Guide has provided us which plenty of Information about the history, culture and many more interesting, and sometimes surprising "new" Information which we has highly appreciated. Thanks for that Dr Mamdouh. The whole Trip from Hurgahda to Cairo and back and the transportation by car in Cairo to the different points of interest works as expected in a perfect way (well organized) . Thumb up :-) Additionally we had a boat trip at the Nil river, which provides us a different view at the city which was really nice and relaxing. Last but not least, we visit the Chan el-Chalili Basar which was an amazing expeariance and needs to be or should be part of each visit of Cairo. But there is so much more to see and invites for a further trip to Cairo.

Having now used Book Tour Egypt for our trip to the pyramids and GEM, I would not hesitate in using them again. They were very professional throughout. Great communication whilst overseas via WhatsApp (using Hotel’s Wi-Fi) and responded very quickly to questions I had. I’m glad we chose the earliest collection time available as this ensured much fewer people at the Pyramids and GEM. It is a long day out, but well worth it. Every aspect of this trip was spot on, from collection, flights to actual experience. A massive thanks to our tour guide Ahmed Sholeh. This guy is a human version of Google! (But in a good way) so knowledgeable. We learned so much. I travelled with my two children (13 & 5) and they really enjoyed the day. Having a guide meant that we were not hassled in any way by locals and felt safe the whole trip. It had a nice and relaxed pace. There are buses that operate around the Pyramid Plateau so it wasn’t any hassle getting around. All I can say is it is well worth using Book Tour Egypt. No need to use any other company. We got the trip we booked for and so much more. Thank you for the memories!
