A memorable Trip to Luxor Historical sites

Out day trip to Luxor from Sharm el Sheikh was great. Our tour Guide, Laila was fantastic and made our trip all that memorable. Laila is extremely professional, very knowledgeable and an excellent communicator She was able to guide us and lead us to the great historical sites, explaining the unique features of each site we visited using excellent English. We were very impressed with her knowledge and no doubt would highly recommend her as a Guide tour. Thank you Laila

Wonderful tour with small group and great guide

We had a wonderful day on the Nile. From pick-up to return a round experience. Our guide AMR Mansur organized everything super well for us. He explained the sights well and through his expertise he could also answer questions about details. The ride on the Nile was refreshing and relaxed, after which we went to dinner. This was very delicious with fish & meat, pasta and rice and even a dessert. We would always book a tour through Getyour Guide. With the guide just great!

Go with Laila S!

We had a wonderful time with our expert guide, Laila S! She is truly a credit to her craft. She has an answer for everything and a great sense of humor. You will not be disappointed if you love Ancient Egyptian history, culture, and mythology. The tour is packed with information and walking and exploring the sites. Be sure to bring a scarf, sunblock, and walking shoes!

Sharm to Luxor day tour

Great tour! Our guide Laila was so informative, really went above and beyond to explain all the sights and history of Luxor. She went at a good pace, helped us navigate the vast temple complexes, found all the shaded spots on a very hot day, and did all this while fasting for Ramadan - what a star! 100% recommend.

Beautiful day through good explanation

It was a beautiful day with beautiful Egyptian highlights. What is still well preserved. With beautiful colors in the Valley of the Kings. The guide leilah has explained the history well. And freed up as much time as possible for everyone to take pictures at their own pace. We left at 5am and were back around 9. Drivers race on well. super nice people. Also, take some coins for the bathroom on the way. Or save 20 quid for the toilet. And neck pillow for the road in the van. The desert is beautiful to see but a bit boring. Stop at tent on the way for a drink to buy and buy some souvenirs if necessary. The boat trip on the Nile for 10 euros is lovely. Nice and cool. Buy your entrance tickets in advance because that saves a lot of time and hassle. And everything was worth it. It's been a wonderful day.

Great tour but room for improvement in organization and comfort

We had a great tour in Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. The trip was quite well-organized, and our guide was very knowledgeable about Egyptian history. We would have given a full five-star review, but towards the end of the tour, our guide began arguing with our driver in a local language that we didn’t understand. The argument sounded quite intense and unsettling. We hope they will avoid having disputes in front of customers in the future. Another issue was the group size: it was so large that we needed two cars. All the English-speaking guests were placed in the same minivan, which resulted in not enough seats for everyone. This felt unsafe, especially considering the traffic in Cairo. (The other van was occupied by Italian-speaking tourists.) Thankfully, the ride was short, but it was still uncomfortable in the overcrowded van.

Must do to view the sites at Luxor- book with Laila S if you can!

We went on the small group excursion from Hurghata to Luxor. The drivers were friendly and prompt. The tour guide, Laila, was so impressive with her knowledge of all the sites. She recommended different routes to view Carnac, the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut’s temple. She also recommended the Nile River ride, which was relaxing and informative, and we were so glad we went. When we stopped at the artisan’s shop, she was able to further leverage our prices, which was kind as well. I would strongly recommend booking with her.
