Instead of the luxury bus, a ride in a warm van!

We bought a day trip in Luxor with a luxury bus, reclining seats and a bathroom, a small van arrived at our hotel, the seats were cramped, there wasn't even a headrest on the back seats, an absurdity!!! It was very hot in the street, inside the car it was even hotter, the air wasn't cooling, the driver left the van off in the sun, when we returned from the outings, imagine the heat in a closed car in the sun with the air conditioning off, a shame! Our guide showed some knowledge, compared to other guides, there was less explanation, there was no slowing down and letting us appreciate the place, total rush. Luxor is beautiful, it doesn't depend on a travel agency, the place is fabulous and visiting was incredible, it's a shame we chose the GetYourGuide ad that offered a luxury bus, the ad does not match reality, we are annoyed instead of satisfied with the day trip, BTE cannot advertise things it does not deliver. We're going to have to do Luxor again at another time, but with a more competent company that doesn't lie to customers!

One hundred stars

5-star guide because you cannot give more, a boost of energy, excellent and very well prepared. They came to pick me up privately and brought me back to Marsa Alam even though the group was coming from Hurghada. Bus equipped with complimentary water and snacks.

Great trip to Luxor

We visited Luxor yesterday. Our lovely guide, Laila, took us to see all the sights in a pleasant, friendly, and memorable way. We highly recommend it

Ask for Lailia!

Our tour guidd Laila was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Despite having read mixed reviews me and my husband decided to still book because of the good reviews outweighing the bad ones. And we are most happy with our trip. We were picked up at 3:30 in the night, the drivers were on time and polite. The pick up being so early is to arrive around 7 o clock in order to escape the peak burning sun in Luxor which we appreciate as otherwise it will be too hot. The sights are magnificent as you take a look at the remnants of ancient Egypt and learn more about their way of thinking. We had enough time to see what we wanted. I recommend wear a good closed shoe, bring a hat, and wear loose linen or cotton clothes! Cold water was also free and included in the trip as well as an ice cream at the end of the trip which our guide Laila bought for us. The nile river trip was nice and worth the 20 euros for 2 person. A great moment to get some shade from the sun and see the views from the riverbanks. The Alabaster factory was interesting to see altough we did not buy anything and were also not pressured to buy anythinf as other reviews stated. Furthermore there was enough bathroom breaks yes for some you must pay 20 egyptian pounda but this has been the case with many other bathrooms we noticed. And coming from holland this is nothing new to us, it is common to have to pay for public restroom during the lunch included the bathroom was free. We will remember our guide Laila and all her knowledge. The trip is worth it if you are a history lover just be well prepared for the sun and expect a lot of walking.

Attentive, informatice, interactive and fun experience

The experience was great. From the pick up, the core of it all and the drop off. The guide was really informative. Very friendly and interactive with her explanation. We had Laila, very sweet, kind and attentive guide. Price wise was great, the time of the explanation and for your own time for picture was perfectly balanced. The group was small enough for everybody can get the attention they deserve. Once again, I would love to recommend Laila!!!
