A wonderful excursion. My...

A wonderful excursion. My guide was Mimo, a very knowledgeable Egyptologist was great explaining what we were going to see, and explaining what we were seeing enroute. My camel ride was only 20 minutes, but my camel herder did ask me if I was satisfied, and I was, so no issue. A good visit to the bazaar area where I was able to purchase the last of my souvenirs. The museum was excellent also. I didn’t get the name of my driver, but Cairo drivers are nuts. I was very happy, and safe riding with him, so much so that I hired him again for the next day to visit the Citadel, have a boat ride on the Nile, and finally to get me to the airport for my departing flight at 2:00 am. A very happy camper!

Amazing day in Cairo

We had an awesome time with Adel (driver) and Michael (guide)! Adel made sure we were comfortable the whole way, and Michael’s knowledge was on point—he taught us so much and really made the experience memorable. Plus, he took great pictures of us, so we have some amazing memories to look back on! We were visiting from Boston and couldn’t have asked for a better day -- we only had 1 day so this trip was perfect to see everything and Michael really tailored it to our interests. If you book this tour, definitely ask for Adel and Michael—they’ll make it even better! Highly recommend!

Pyramids and museum tour!

We booked our tour a little while ago. We wanted to see the best of Cario and we were certainly not disappointed! We were contacted the previous evening to confirm pick up time and Mimo was there 5 minutes early! Memo made us feel immediately comfortable and ensured we had enough water to drink. Our first stop was the great pyramids. Memo took his time explaining everything and made time to get the fantastic shots for social media! We then went to the sphinx and again memo took his time explaining everything to do with the sphinx and all of the surrounding monuments. We had a stop off at a local aromatherapy shop that explained the importance of aromatherapy in Egypt. Our lunch stop was fantastic quality and plentiful. You would expect to pay around £35-£40 per person for that meal alone! Our last stop was into Cairo itself and into the Egyptian Museum. Memos knowledge in regards to the museum is second to none! There is nothing he doesn’t know about the artefacts in that building. The golden mask of king Tutankhamun was amazing! The details and the amount of gold that are in that mask and coffins and craftsmanship is truly astounding! We were asked if we wanted to go and see anything else or needed anything else. We were taken back to our hotel and again given water and several places of interest were pointed out as before. We would definitely recommend memo and Emad for your tour of Cario. Book ahead and you will definitely know that you’re going to have a fantastic day!

Highly recommended private tour

Excellent experience! The tour guide Phoebe contacted me a day before via WhatsApp to confirm the pickup time. Next morning she was at the hotel a few minutes before the agreed time with an air conditioned van and a driver (there were no other tourists). Phoebe is a qualified Egyptologist and been doing this for 15 years. We found her very knowledgeable, polite and helpful. We did not feel rushed throughout the day and were given the right amount of information we wanted. An excellent lunch was included in the package, arranged on a hotel rooftop with pyramids view. The driver was also an experienced and patient person who drove us safely in the hustling and bustling traffic of Cairo. Highly recommended service which was good value for money.

Fantastic 8 hr private tour

Fantastic private tour. Manar used her Egyptology masters very well, the knowledge she shared was amazing. Would highly recommend. ( the driver on the day needs a medal negotiating that crazy traffic is an art in itself) Thankyou so much both of you.

A jam packed day with all stops being a highlight with Mimo

Mimo was an amazing tour guide in what turned out to be a private tour for us. We covered all the places mentioned and even did a few more like a stop over for aromatherapy, a history on the first paper, papyrus etc. Mimo covered the history, highlights and also all necessary photo opportunities! Ibrahim was a safe driver and always managed to pick us and drop us off at the entrance with all the traffic!
