Thank you Mohamed for showing us Alexandria!
A great day in Alexandria! Pickup by van was prompt at 0645. Halfway, we had a nice rest stop for coffee/reatroom and then met Mohamed in Alexandria. He was organized, fun and allowed us plenty of time at each stop. My favorite stop was the visit to the catacombs. Mo expertly pointed out the Roman/egyptian blending of influences on several details. I also enjoyed the stops to be near the water. The fish lunch was fantastic as it was on the sea as well. It was a well planned day and we had an expert driver. Thank you guys!

Great day in Alexandria Egypt.
I would highly recommend the full day tour of Alexandria. We spent an amazing day with Waleed. He was very knowledgeable and informative. He adjusted the tour based on our expectations We also toured the kings palace gardens and private train. One of the highlights was the catacombs and the history behind them. Another highlight was visiting the tomb of St. Mark in the Coptic Church. Our tour was on a Friday so unfortunately the Alexandria library was closed, but Waleed was able to get us in to see the grounds. We had authentic lunch of Koshery at El Harony which was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to try it again.

Mohammed is a star, a brilliant whirlwind tour of Alexandria.
A great overview of all that Alexandria has to offer. Mohammed was great fun with good sense of humour but also deeply knowledgeable and informative. A thoroughly enjoyable day out from Cairo.

Amazing Alexandria experience with nice food
Every journey has good and bad experience. I am here for the good ones.
Good: Our guide Mohammed seemed to be a passionate Egyptologist. He was with us in every step and every corner. With his explanation of history, I felt like I was 1000 of years back in time.
Bad but ok: We were stuck in traffic for a while. Lunch would be after the trip around 16:00. But I knew about this from previous TripAdvisor feedback and mentally prepared.
Thank you Ramas-side and Mohammed . I will come back again.

Group Tour of Alexandria
My trip to Alexandria from Cairo was an enjoyable full-day experience. I was picked up early from my hotel and the driver (Omar I believe) was really nice. The guide Mohammed was very knowledgeable and took us to several interesting spots. To of the tour group members unfortunately got sick (from something they’d eaten the night before), but Mohammed was very attentive and even went with them to the pharmacy to get something.

Mohammed was an exceptional tour guide. He blended deep local knowledge with a friendly, welcoming personality that made the entire experience feel effortless and memorable. His storytelling brought each stop to life, and he was attentive to every detail, making sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged. If you’re looking for a guide who is professional, patient, and genuinely passionate about sharing his culture, Mohammed is an outstanding choice.

Alexandria
We had a good day and the highlight was seeing the Catacombs.
Our freelance guide Karim was ok but I didn't like the fact that he kept the tickets for our entrances to a few memorable places. I did eventually manage to get 1 set of tickets for the 3 places that were paid for on the day but 3 sets of tickets remained with Karim so he could claim back the expenses from the main tour operator. I personally feel that the main tour operator and the freelance tour guide (Karim in our case) should have more trust within themselves.
Lunch was very nice and we had a good view.
Overall the day was a good experience that we all enjoyed.

GUIDE FRAUDSTER AND FRAUD TO THE LIGHTHOUSE OF ALEXANDRIA
BE CAREFUL. The tour starts at the entrance to a famous park and the guide takes you to places that are a waste of time. In the end try to sell yourself an expensive dinner in a place that has other cheaper restaurants.
Worst of all, they don’t take you to the most iconic place where the Alexandria Lighthouse was.
