Flavor of Old Cairo and Downtown with a Skyline boat ride on the Nile River

This tour gives you an opportunity to experience the bazaar in Old Cairo, stop at a local downtown eatery, and relax on a boat ride on the Nile River. You will be able to travel in a small group and a guide will provide a tour along the way.

An afternoon with Ahmed

Ahmed was knowledgable and attentive. We had a lovely trip with lots of history. The felluca ride was nice. The market was also good. I would suggest covering up with hat and sunglasses. We got some nice trinkets what a bargain. On the way back we had some authentic food 😋 Ahmed was there to guide us and steer us clear from unwanted attention.

Decent tour, but not during Ramadan

We did this tour during Ramadan, which I think impacted the quality of the tour. What usually lasts 4 to 5 hours, was cut to 2 hours, so the tour felt very rushed. We were also bundled with a number of others from 3 different hotels, so we lost time traveling between hotels. We even had to eat our shawarma in the bus. The boat ride, though pleasant, felt tacked on and lasts only 20 mimutes. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, however. Would have given better review if a reduced rate had been offered, but not really good value for a 2 hour tour.

Crazy Nightlife

Interesting tour of crazy nightlife in Cairo! Ramadan-related was even more busy than usual. The drive along the Nile was short, but was quite enough - you can see Cairo from a different side.

Perfect experience to get to know Cairo

Great experience! Khaled was a perfect guide, organized the boat ride, dinner, and then accompanied us to the bazaar. He helped us in the negotiations, told us about the local culture and made us try coffee and cakes typical of Cairo. We could not have asked for better! Thanks also to the driver always punctual and helpful.

Tour was cancelled.

The start time of the tour was changed twice. The time was changed from 6pm to 6:30pm. Then the time was changed from 6:30pm to 7:15pm. As a result of that, the tour wouldn't be finished at midnight which was too late for us. Our contacted person suggested we could cancel the tour with the full refund. So I cancelled the tour.

Fun and factual tour of Cairo, thoroughly recommend 😁

We would highly recommend this trip. Ahmed, our tour guide, was brilliant. He contacted us before the trip to confirm pick up time and location. We were travelling as a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, staying in Giza. There were 10 of us on the tour. Ahmed was very knowledgeable and made us feel safe at all times. We went into a mosque, went through the market and bazaar, and also done a 30 minute boat trip on the Nile. We also had a dinner which was yummy. Ahmed was very funny and whilst teaching us lots about Cairo he made it fun. If you want to do a night tour of Cairo do this one 😁! Thanks Ahmed 👍🏻
