What you'll see

  1. The Pyramids Of Giza
    3 hours

The Giza Pyramids are one of the most iconic and awe-inspiring monuments in the world, located just outside of Cairo, Egypt. Here's a quick overview: Main Highlights: 1. The Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops) – The largest of the three, and the only surviving structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. 2. The Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren) – Slightly smaller but appears taller due to its elevated location; it’s also connected to the famous Great Sphinx. 3. The Pyramid of Menkaure – The smallest of the three major pyramids. 4. The Great Sphinx – A massive limestone statue with a lion's body and a human head, believed to represent Pharaoh Khafre.

  2. Great Sphinx
    30 minutes

The Great Sphinx of Giza is a huge limestone statue in Egypt with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, likely Khafre, built around 2500 BCE. It stands near the pyramids and is thought to be a guardian symbol of power and wisdom. Over time, it has been damaged by erosion and sand, adding to its mystery.

  3. Grand Egyptian Museum
    3 hours

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is a modern museum in Giza, right next to the pyramids. It displays over 100,000 artifacts from ancient Egypt, with its main highlight being the entire Tutankhamun collection shown together for the first time. The museum also features a giant statue of Ramses II, advanced conservation labs, and galleries designed to tell Egypt’s history from prehistoric times to the Greco-Roman era.

The local guide in English was also very good

The guide was very helpful in explaining it in an easy-to-understand manner. The hotel pick-up and drop-off at the airport were also handled, making the experience easy and enjoyable.

Perfect tour

We had an incredible day exploring the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) with Ahmed. Their knowledge of ancient history is staggering, but they made it accessible and engaging rather than just a list of dates. At the Pyramids, they knew all the best spots for photos away from the crowds, and at the GEM, they navigated the massive collection perfectly so we saw the absolute highlights without feeling overwhelmed. Highly recommend!
