What you'll see

  1. The Pyramids Of Giza
    3 hours

The Giza Pyramids are one of the most iconic and awe-inspiring monuments in the world, located just outside of Cairo, Egypt. Here's a quick overview: Main Highlights: 1. The Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops) – The largest of the three, and the only surviving structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. 2. The Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren) – Slightly smaller but appears taller due to its elevated location; it’s also connected to the famous Great Sphinx. 3. The Pyramid of Menkaure – The smallest of the three major pyramids. 4. The Great Sphinx – A massive limestone statue with a lion's body and a human head, believed to represent Pharaoh Khafre.

  2. Great Sphinx
    30 minutes

The Great Sphinx of Giza is a huge limestone statue in Egypt with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, likely Khafre, built around 2500 BCE. It stands near the pyramids and is thought to be a guardian symbol of power and wisdom. Over time, it has been damaged by erosion and sand, adding to its mystery.

  3. Grand Egyptian Museum
    3 hours

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is a modern museum in Giza, right next to the pyramids. It displays over 100,000 artifacts from ancient Egypt, with its main highlight being the entire Tutankhamun collection shown together for the first time. The museum also features a giant statue of Ramses II, advanced conservation labs, and galleries designed to tell Egypt’s history from prehistoric times to the Greco-Roman era.

Excellent!

We had an amazing experience in Cairo thanks to our tour guide Reem. From the moment we arrived at the Pyramids to our visit to the Egyptian Museum, she brought ancient history to life with clear explanations, fascinating stories, and great energy. Reem is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about Egypt’s heritage. She answered all our questions patiently and shared details you would never learn on your own. At the same time, she made the tour relaxed and enjoyable, helping with photos, timing, and avoiding crowds whenever possible. If you want to truly understand the Pyramids, the pharaohs, and the treasures of the museum — not just walk around them — Reem is the perfect guide. I highly recommend her to anyone visiting Cairo. She made our trip unforgettable.

Unforgettable solo travel experience

I was traveling solo and initially felt hesitant about booking a private tour, but the company and guide were incredibly kind, professional, and immediately put me at ease. Azza, my guide, and Mohammad, the driver, were exceptionally warm and thoughtful, truly making the experience unforgettable.

Ideal combination; pyramids and GEM

Noura was our guide at the pyramids and to the GEM. We like to get a lot of detailed information about the history of Egypt. We did miss this in certain places. Did an extensive photo session at the pyramids. She had lots of great ideas for the pictures. We doubted whether to visit a pyramid, but none of our guides (also from last day) were enthusiastic about it. Inside there is nothing; no decorations and nothing to see. That's why I chose not to go in. In between a visit to a papyrus and perfume shop (is standard on these excursions). Non-intrusive and nice peek into the making of papyrus. Then to the GEM. There are a lot of pieces here. We would pick out the highlights and have looked at the most famous/important ones. She walked through a series of beautiful sarcophagi; we looked at this on our own initiative. Here we did miss additional information. Also with Tutankhamun we got little in-depth explanation and with some questions she did not know the answer. She was mostly busy on the phone. Nice guide but expected more depth information.

Excellent and enjoyable informative

We had an excellent experience, thanks to our wonderful guide, Nourhan. She explained everything clearly and patiently, making the entire tour both informative and enjoyable. At the Pyramids, she made sure we understood every detail and showed us all the important highlights. We also visited the papyrus paper printing center, which was a lovely experience—we even purchased some beautiful artwork there. The perfume factory visit was equally enjoyable and interesting. Our final stop was the Grand Egyptian Museum. We had a great start, but unfortunately, we couldn’t complete the visit as the museum was closed due to VIP visitors. That was the only downside of the day. Still, Nourhan did her best to explain as much as possible and made sure we saw and understood everything we could. The day ended perfectly with a delicious lunch shared with Nourhan, which was a great way to wrap up an otherwise fantastic experience. Highly recommended!
