Highly recommended Tour

We spent a wonderful day with our tour guide Sayed Mahmoud and our driver Ali. The tour felt very private and the guide explained us everything very clearly, I really appreciate to go as first thing to the Giza pyramids as it was less crowded and we felt safe at anytime despite many people said that there’s lot of people harassing you by the pyramids; our guide was very good to don’t let anyone come to us. Very highly recommended!

Had a great day

Our guide Hesham and our driver (unfortunately we didn't have his name) made our experience very pleasant. The guide answered all our questions with his characteristic kindness and never stopped trying to engage with us.

Great guide, great tour

This was one of my favorite tours during my trip to Cairo. It was definitely worth it to visit the amazing sites at Memphis, Sakkara, and Dahshur. I also had an AMAZING guide, Isslam, who was very knowledgeable and kind! For travelers, you will have the opportunity to go inside the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid. It is quite physically intensive (a lot of climbing in hot weather), so be prepared before you go inside!

Awe-inspiring

I'm going to make a controversial suggestion here and say that if you want to see the pyramids but can't deal with the ridiculous crowds, go to Saqqara and Memphis instead, when I visited there were no more than 20 to 30 people at any given time. The pyramids I saw here were the precursors to the ones at Giza. You can actually see the evolution in the engineering which ultimately led to the designs found in Giza. Additionally, while the interior of the Great Pyramid of Giza is a steep and extremely narrow corridor that leads to nothing but an empty, dark room, the Unas Pyramid in Sakkara has a much shorter and wider corridoor, and boasts some very well preserved interiors with intricate carvings and paintings. I highly recommend taking this tour, and make sure you ask for Ola as your guide as she's probably one of the best at EMO Tours.

A desert of emotions

Excellent guide, perfect transport service, decent lunch, a little insistence on buying souvenirs. Excellent price quality

Careless guide

The guide didn't come with us to the sites. He told us to do as we please and to take our time but then blamed us for taking too long to visit the inside of a pyramid wich takes a long time to do. He made fun of us as we were getting tired walking under the sun and criticized our knowledge of Egyptian history, being jealous of our previous guide, when we are not even Egyptians and it is his job to inform us what he partially did. He gave a lot of informations on the way but not at the sites. Also, the informations he gave us were random and more to defend his ego proving his legitimacy then to really help us understand. He seemed in a hurry to finish the visit and seemed to disagree as we wanted to explore main parts of the site other tourists were exploring.
