Guide/Driver made a difference!

Afifi was our tour guide, and Adel was our driver. From the beginning, my husband and I felt right with them since both immediately made us home. They were so pleasant and accommodating. Afifi was knowledgeable about all the sites we visited and presented his knowledge very well so that we could understand the history. Not only were they professional and pleasant, but they were also personal to us. It was my birthday when we took this trip with them. They surprised me with a giant birthday cake and a special Egyptian birthday song/music. After this, we requested the travel company to have them with us for another trip we planned to take the following day. They granted that, and we had another fantastic trip with them.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, informative and fun to be with. The lunch was amazing and the sights were too crowded.

We were picked up promptly from our hotel by the driver and then we picked up our guide. The guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the Sakkara tour very much.

Fantastic day

The sites were amazing. The guide Mahmoud was great. Very knowledgeable and very attentive to our interests and needs. Be aware that the half day tour can be 7 hours or so once you add in travel time.

TOP EXPERIENCE

Tour between the archaeological sites of Saqqara, Dashur and Memphis. Our guide Ahmed accompanied us during each stage making our trip practically perfect. Also great lunch in a street food recommended by him, it was a really nice experience.

Educational adventure to Sakkara, Dahshur and Memphis that you will not want to miss.

This tour was highly informative and educational. Sakkara and Dahshur pyramids (Red and Bent) were more interesting than the Giza pyramids. Go inside either or both of the Red and Bent pyramids. The Bent pyramid has a longer entry way. What a fun adventure going inside. Our tour guide, Khalife, was phenomenal! He was so personable and knowledgeable about Egyptian history that he made our experience come to life.

Great tour.highly recommend

Our guide Siyed and driver Mohammed were excellent.although you obviously must visit the pyramids at giza as we did while in cairo we found this trip to be very enlightening and would go so far as to say out shone our visit to giza plateau.the explanation from our excellent guide of the pyramids at dashur and monuments at memphis were exceptional but the step pyramid and temples and tombs at sakkara just topped everything.to have someone who can explain why and how things were done in such a way was just wonderful.these sites are not so commercial as the giza pyramids and so very worth visiting

Pyramids of Wonder

The tour was excellent, visiting Sakkara, Memphis and Dahshur Pyramids. The tour was with a company called Emo Tours. We were picked up from our hotel on time with a driver and guide. The guide was really knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. Beware the tour took almost 8 hours by the time we arrived back at the hotel. The whole experience was well worth it though.
