A truly memorable and enlightening experience

This trip is a must for people interested in the stories behind these two significant religions, especially for those of other faiths. We found the visit to Cairos major mosques a very enlightening experience made more understandable by our guide Sarah whose knowledge and ability to explain the intricacies of Islamic beliefs made it understandable. She knows the key people including gracious Imans who were willing to share and interact with us. Very impressive indeed. The Coptic side was also impressive. She was ably assisted by pleasant driver Mahomet who helped make this a very memorable experience. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great day spent with Mo

Mo was great. His knowledge is incredible which made the tour very pleasant and certainly the learning experience we were looking for. If you are looking for someone who has infinite knowledge to share Mo is who I would recommend for this tour. During our visits Mo would give us an explanation and then allow us some free time to explore and take photos which was great. He is also a great photographer, always encouraging to take photos which is nice, and he was able to slide through crowds of people to get by and go through the tours. I on the other hand had some tips to share when booking… try not to book this tour on a Friday, it’s prayer day, although it didn’t impact us much I’m sure it would have been less street traffic. I would also recommend booking this tour with fees included, it’s just less worrisome, and carry small change for tips for toilets, doorman, etc. also, do not underestimate booking lunch, we regret doing so, and although it was offered after the tour we were tired by the end and it was late. Synagogue Ben Ezra is closed and cannot visit, and we did not visit Greek Chruch of St. George, just walked by. We did visit Khan El Khalili and Mo let us explore on our own, although it was extremely overwhelming and almost wish he walked around with us. That being said, Mo was great and the tour was amazing, and did not feel pressured at all to visit off tour stores which was a huge plus for us. Thanks to Mo for making this great !

We are binary and are proud of the titles husband and wife

We will no longer respond to any request for a review unless there is a category for husband and wife. Yes we are partners, but we identify as husband and wife. The tour was great and should be included any one's list of things to do and see in Cairo. Our guide, Habibe and driver were outstanding. We highly recommend them. The selection of the sites and the information by Habibe gave us a great appreciation of the religious significance of the Muslim temples.
