Excellent tour.

Egypt surprised us, the hospitality of the people is amazing and that talking about the Guides, Maja apart from being a sweet lady, is very attentive, she accompanied us throughout the tour, we loved we are with them, with the driver with the people who helped because we made friends with physical disabilities and that was no impediment. The tour includes lunch, water or refreshment, snack and transfer to and from the hotel. If I go back to Egypt I'll go back to them. They are great and thank you for having everything calculated and making us feel like kings in your country.

This tour was OK. There really wasn't much to see and you can barely take pictures of anything in the Museum. The Mosque was OK. If you have time, then you should go, but if you're crunched on time, there are many other sights to visit!

Highlights of Cairo

We had some a great time seeing the highlights of Cairo with Ebrahim (the Prince of Egypt) and his terrific driver (Fast and Furious). Ebrahim made sure we saw the best there was to see at the Egyptian Museum, and we had plenty of free time and a great introduction to the Citadel - Mohamed Ali Mosque and Khan Khalili Bazaar. A fantastic value when you consider entrance fees, snacks, and lunch are included. How could you possibly go wrong. I am so glad we decided to do this tour with them. If you take this tour, you won't be disappointed.

brilliant overview of Cairo and the Museum

Last Sunday we had a tour around Cairo with Adel and Samir his driver. We loved the day. Adel was so very accommodating even when we were running late he found me a Mummy in the Museum. Cairo is a city of incredible chaos through our UK eyes. I would not advise anyone to try and see the city under your own steam. We saw the beautiful mosque and complex, and visited the bazaar. Thank you Adel you made our weekend in Cairo very enjoyable, we went on Saturday around the Pyramids, Saqqara, and Memphis. This was before our week cruise. Highly recommend Adel and Samir.

Brilliant experience with EMO Tours and H

This was a short and sweet tour. My guide H had arrived at the hotel right on time and we started off with the Cairo Citadel. It was foggy and what could have been a brilliant view looking over Cairo was slightly dampened. However it was made up for by the gorgeous view inside the mosque. We then proceeded on to the museum and I was simply awestruck by the entire experience. H was very helpful in walking me through the more popular artefacts first so that I did not miss out on them. He then asked me if I would want to spend some time wandering on my own. I really did want to cover as many displays as I could so I took a good hour and a half and Half waited out patiently all the while. I was really appreciative of the fact that he never rushed me or dropped me any texts to hurry me up. Once I'd had my fill at the museum we headed over to the Khan El Khalili market and grabbed lunch at a cafe near the Sultan Hassan mosque. The meal was not bad and then H again let me have as much time as I needed to roam around the streets of the market. He was kind enough to inform me of how it was pretty much a norm to negotiate on the prices of the souvenirs and boy did the advice help! Overall, like I said, it was a short but memorable day trip. Kudos to H and to EMO Tours. I would definitely recommend them over any other tour operator in Cairo.

The sites were amazing and worth seeing for this trip. My guide was enthusiastic; however, everything he pointed out was “most famous” or “ very important” without further explanation into the full history of the site or artifact. He did take pictures and wanted to make sure I had a good time.

The tour was really great. I had...

The tour was really great. I had called the company a day before my trip so that they can change my tour time which was suppose to start at 8 am to 11 am next day. But they didn't convey this to the tour guide the poor guy reached hotel at 8 am and had to wait for 3 hours. But still he wasn't disturbed and met me with a friendly smile. The egyptologist was very knowledgeable and during all the tour he keep me informing about all the historical places and parts of cairo city. Though I had shortened the visit but still he covered cairo tour very well. We visited Museum and he took me through the important parts of museum . I was amazed how he can remember all details name of pharaohs and their family chain. For one thing I am really grateful for the egyptologist named Ahmed Yassin was that on all my request he took my pictures wherever and whenever I want he has some good photography skills ,I salute his patience. The company had provided a dedicated car with driver and egyptologist as I was a solo traveller the company had provided complimentary Lays chips packets and a big water bottle. We visited Sala Din citadel and mosque inside it then we visited Khan el Khalili bazaar. We had left very less time as it was after noon and all tours are timed to finish by 4 o clock .Regarding Khan el Khalili bazar to do shopping there u should have really good bargaining skills and should have abundance of time as the bazar is quite big and it takes lot of time to agree on a mutual price with shop keepers. After Khan el khalili we took our lunch buffet which was great. I am visiting Cairo in March with my family and surely will take their services.
