I’m Egyptian and lived in Cairo most of my life, yet this is by far the best experience I ever had in the pyramids. Highly recommended!

We had the most amazing day with our guide! She’s extremely knowledgeable, fun, and has such a great personality that made the whole experience so enjoyable. Around the Pyramids, everyone seemed to know and love her, which made us feel very welcome. She also took us to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where her storytelling brought history to life in such an engaging way. Even for me as an Egyptian, I discovered new things I hadn’t known before – and for my German friends, it was an unforgettable experience. At Khan El Khalili, she guided us to the best shops with beautiful souvenirs and jewelry, steering us away from the tourist traps. She also knew all the best shortcuts and hidden spots for stunning photos – and even showed us how to take them perfectly! More than just a guide, she made the day smooth, fun, and truly memorable. If you’re visiting Cairo, she’s absolutely the one to book!

We spent an unforgettable day with Nevin, our wonderful guide, exploring some of Cairo’s most iconic sights: the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, the magnificent new Grand Egyptian Museum, and the bustling Khan el-Khalili bazaar. From the moment she greeted us at our hotel in the morning until she dropped us back in the early evening, Nevin made us feel completely at ease and exceptionally well looked after. Her deep knowledge of Egyptian history and culture shone through every moment of the day. In the Grand Museum she seemed to know every single artifact by heart—sharing fascinating stories and small details we would have easily missed without her. It felt like a private, insider’s tour, with each room coming alive through her explanations. Nevin’s local connections added an extra touch of magic. At the bazaar she introduced us to trusted vendors she clearly knew well, helping us navigate the maze of shops and negotiate fair prices without any stress. She made sure we stayed cool and hydrated in the warm Cairo sun and even guided us to a charming spot for lunch where we sampled delicious traditional dishes. Beyond her knowledge and professionalism, Nevin’s warmth and genuine passion for her city turned the tour into a perfect experience. We never once felt rushed; every stop was tailored to our pace and interests. This day with Nevin was truly a highlight of our trip to Egypt. We cannot recommend her highly enough and will definitely book her again on our next visit to Cairo.

Went on a tour to the pyramids and the sphinx with Nevin and she was absolutely brilliant. Very responsive on WhatsApp when it came to booking! Transport was arranged and even on route Nevin was telling us facts and history about new Cairo, Cairo and Giza! When walking round the pyramids and the sphinx, the knowledge she has was incredible! It was obvious that she really loves what she does! She’s also a great photographer and ensures that you get all the pictures you want! Once we were done she even treated my friends and I to some food! Some fresh, traditional falafels! I didn’t have any but my friends said they were delicious aswell! She looked after us all throughout the day and I felt in very safe hands! I highly recommend Nevin, the price for what you get is great and I’m hoping next time I can see even more!

This tour company was recommended to me by work colleagues and friends. Am so glad I took their recommendation and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook with Deluxe Tours Cairo, or hesitate in passing on their details. Travelled to Cairo for a long weekend with my niece to celebrate her 16th birthday. As much as I was interested in the history. I knew we would have to tailor the tour for a teenager and our tour guide Nevin was just the perfect person to help tweak the tour! Nevin text us when she was at the hotel entrance and greeted us with a warm welcome and a lovely clean, modern, and air conditioned car, also stocked with cold bottled water. On our drive to Giza she highlighted points of interest, chatted away and made us feel very comfortable. Upon arrival in Giza we very quickly learned that Niven is a celebrity and VIP in Cairo – literally every person knew her and greeted her with excitement and warmth, it was utterly amazing. She is also such a kind person, who bought food into the grounds to feed to dogs, which we admired so much. Just showed how kind she is. Because of Nevin’s experience and knowledge, she was able to expertly guide us around the grounds of the pyramids, and knew in what order was the best of the day. With it just being the 2 of us traveling together we really appreciated Nevin also being our photographer, and OMG, what photography skills she has!! We have the most amazing photos because of her and am attaching some here to the review! She was also so flexible with her time and agenda, allowing us to choose on the day which museum we wanted to visit after the pyramids. Honestly 10/10 for this tour company and 100% also for Nivin.

I can’t rate Nevin and her wider team enough. She was hugely responsive on WhatsApp when setting up our day tour with her of the Pyramids at Giza, Egyptian Museum and Khan el-Khalili market. Nothing was too much trouble - from getting drinks for us in the heat, tasty food and snacks to keep us going to adapting plans on the day to meet our needs. It was clear that she is hugely knowledgeable from an academic / historical point of view and knows how to navigate each location. Exchanging pleasantries with staff working at each location to weaving through queues with ease, knowing which camel guide would take us to a quieter spot for maximum enjoyment at the pyramids. Through to taking brilliant photos at each location without other tourists about. Our driver was always at the collection points meaning we could relax in air conditioning before moving onto the next location. We added in a felucca ride in the Nile and trip to old Cairo the following day and were taken round by a colleague - Marco who was equally passionate and knowledgeable. Like Nevin he was engaging and interested in our four children (aged 8-13) , pitching his approach to their level. The evening Nile cruise was great fun with a variety of acts and good choice of food at the buffet. We were taken and collected by George who was warm and friendly and very punctual. I’ve already recommended Nevin to friends going out to Egypt and would definitely use again should we visit Egypt in the future.
