Luxor Knowledge and Egyptian Sincerity

We toured with Ayman and Mr. Honey. They were the perfect driver and tour guide duo. Ayman was specifically very compassionate and sincere. He provided a lesson on Luxor I don’t believe I could have received from a textbook. He had a kind approach to us, but more importantly, he was kind to all he came in contact with which made the trip and meeting him even more enjoyable. While many tour guides talk a good game, he spoke through his actions and knowledge, which meant everything to us!

One of the best guided tours we did.

Our guide Nermeen was amazing. She was a skilled, knowable font of information and helped us navigate the streets of Luxor with ease. She was incredibly professional and one of the friendliest people we’ve met in all of Egypt. I wish we could have had her for every tour we did. If you have the time in Luxor to spend several days, she would be an amazing addition to the trip. We had limited time and only one day but she packed in so much and made every moment count. I really can’t recommend her enough.

Amazing tour with Ahmed Elkallaf in Luxor

We were greeted at the airport in the morning by our tour guide Ahmed Elkallaf, who is really friendly and welcomming. Both him and the drive automatic used mouth protection doing the tour, which we really appriciated. Ahmed Elkallaf is truly passionated about the history about the ancient Egypt. That he is explaining doing the tour. We started at the Vally of the kings, where Ahmed Elkallaf suggested 3 really amazing and colorful tombs we should see, he also make it the right order, so we ended with the most amazing tomb. Then we went to the first temple, where Ahmed Elkallaf passionated telling about the queen who build the tempel and the history around her. We go to the Karnak temple, where Ahmed Elkallaf tells the history about it, and doing the tour in the temple he refers to the queen from earlier, and telling about her part of the Karnak temple. At the end of the tour we go to the Luxor temple where Ahmed Elkallaf is explaining the history about the Luxor temple. Our driver Mamduh makes sure to get us around the whole tour safely. We would recommend others to ask Emo Tours to have Ahmed Elkallaf as their tour guide. If we had more time and other tours in Luxor, we would deffintly request Ahmed Elkallaf to be our tour guide again.
