We were picked up to the minute at the appointed time by our driver Kazem. Afterwards we had an informative guided tour with our guide Selvia. She was very friendly, patiently answered our questions and allowed us time to explore the individual spots ourselves. However, it definitely takes more time to see Islamic Cairo/Old Town in addition to Muhammad Ali Mosque, Coptic Quarter and Bazaar Chan el-Chalili. ATTENTION! Here on TripAdvisor the tour description says “Islamic mosque”, but on Viator it was listed as “Islamic Cairo”!!

I booked this tour for my family as a way to see Cairo on our first day. Our tour guide Roma has incredible knowledge of both the city and the extensive history of Egypt and we learnt a lot. Both Roma and the driver were very accommodating for my family which included young and old. We had a great first day in Cairo.

Be prepared for a cultural experience. And a very informative history lesson! With an experienced tour guide and exceptional driver we were able to explore a very busy market (bazaar), the Ben Ezra Synagogue, The Citadel and Muhammad Ali Mosque.

Difficult to explain why this trip felt quite so amazing. The Churches were so different from anything I have seen before. And the Mosque is breathtaking. Guide was excellent and fun as was the driver. It was our last trip in Egypt before we flew home and we had to rush a little but really glad we did it.

Ahmed was very professional, friendly and a gentlemen. Because we go excited with Ramadan, and the timing of our tour, we were unable to visit the Coptic church. AHMED took us to a different one. We also would have liked to spend more time at the market. Also our Superman driver was Amazing -very friendly and very detail oriented, Making sure we had drinks and snacks. We had a great tour and I would definitely reach out to AHMED next time I’m in Egypt.

Met by Mohammed who collected me and took me to the area with the church where we met our guide EHAB. He was a lovely guide with lots of knowledge and very capably helped navigate the busy streets. We moved at a pace but saw everything I asked to see. It was a pleasure spending time with him. Wear comfortable shoes there is a lot of walking.
