Great Driver!

We (my partner and i) had the best driver. He was helpful and even gave us a little bit of information on the sites. He heped us pick out tickets, which really helps, as it can be confusing, with all the different sites in Saqqara. He was also quite funny too. A great deal, for a great price. Give him a go!

Worth going but driver was quite late

Driver was 40mins late without communicating. So I had to wait on the street early in the morning without being given any accurate time of arrival. The sights are definitely worth seeing and would still recommend going in this tour. Driver was also abit too on the nose on asking for tips even though I was already planning on leaving a big tip.

WOW

Wow we visited the Step pyramid, Bent pyramid and the Red pyramid, plus we also went to the museum of Memphis and saw the giant statue of Ramesses. We only booked a driver which was great for us as we could do things in our own time. All the sites we visited had very very few visitors ( like 5 at best) you have to pay to get in the sites but its very cheap. Our driver for the day was awesome. Exceptional day.

Totally worth the visit! Saqqara pyramids are beautiful; Dashur is not busy so u enjoy the pyramids with space

Totally worth the visit to Saqqara - the stepped pyramid is an easy way to experience going into your first pyramid - it’s easy access, flat, well lit, spacious and has the sarcophagus in the burial chamber when u get all the way in. The pyramid of Unas is a bit more challenging but still very doable, it’s very small but you can stand up once inside and is amazingly preserved and covered in hieroglyphs and has the empty sarcophagus in the burial chamber. Totally worth the effort. The surrounding tombs are also worth the visit. My guide Ali was great at giving the background and historical explanations of each place. Dashur was a great experience, if you can enter the Bent Pyramid you can do any other pyramid. This one is the most challenging and is more of a self-challenge and experiencing the pyramid from inside as the burial chamber was raided and is empty and no hieroglyphs either…it’s a good workout and recommend it if you like a challenge. The Red pyramid is more challenging than those in Saqqara but easy after the Bent pyramid…again, it was raided so it’s emit inside the chamber but still worth the visit, Memphis: outdoor museum was interesting and the massive statue of Ramses is amazing to witness the attention to detail and symmetry achieved.

Imprescindible

Dia muy entretenido, conociendo el origen de las pirámides y la antigua capital. Desde mi punto de vista, la visita se puede realizar perfectamente sin guía ya que la historia aparecerá de nuevo al visitar las pirámides de Guiza.
