Perfect guide and tour
The experience was great and the guide was very knowledgeable on the subject. He was friendly and even though he had some special request, they help us with whatever we wanted. We do recommend this experience.

Highly adaptable guide
The sites themselves were amazing. Having a driver was very helpful, and the main value of the tour. This day would have been a challenge using Uber.
The lunch was fine but nothing special, you'd probably find something as good or better on your own.
The tour guide was the highlight or lowlight depending on what you are looking for. He definitely tuned the tour based on our parties interests. My friend is into meditation and some of the conspiracy theories around these sights, and once the tour guide noticed that he leaned heavily into those things. So the tour guide is less there to teach you about the place in terms of facts, but rather to make you happy about the experience and talk about what you want to talk about.
The driver was a rad dude and we enjoyed chatting with him on the drive home after the tour guide got dropped off at his stop.

Great short trip to Saqqara and other great sights
Wael was really cool. He took good care of us and he gave us enough space and free time. He was also kind enough to pick us up at our airbnb. Thank you Wael!

Great tour to Saqqara
We had a magnificent guided tour of Saqqara with Ahmed. The guide was able to describe the historical context of all the sights in great detail and was able to answer all our questions with great authority. The tour was completed with a traditional Egyptian lunch which we greatly enjoyed. We would recommend this tour and guide to all who want to see the sights of Saqqara.

My guide, Ahmad and the Saqqara/Dahshur/Memphis/Linch tour.
I just got back from spending the day with Ahmad on the Saqqara/Dahshur/Memphis Tour and I wanted to spend a little time reviewing it while it was amazingly fresh in my mind.
This is my second quick trip to Egypt this year (and ever) and the first time around I did the Giza pyramids and you really do need to experience that because of their fame and huge presence.
However, after doing the ones today I do have to say that I believe Saqqara is the site to see in the Cairo era as it is more than pyramids. And this tour truly gives you a complete experience. It was so much more than what I thought it was going to be. And hopefully you get the kindness and knowledge of Ahmad to guide you through the day. He makes you immediately comfortable and welcome and appreciated. He gives you some great initial information on the way but doesn’t dominate your ride, allowing you time to sit back and watch Giza life pass by you. There is so much to learn and appreciate about the trip and watching everyone live their lives. It makes you appreciate what you have as well as appreciate that maybe having things is not the road to happiness. And I don’t want to say that in a way that might sound condescending or entitled because what I saw truly spoke the opposite of that. I have such a respect for folks here.
Without giving too much away…when you arrive at Saqqara you have the opportunity to purchase other tickets. I purchased two additional tickets (to Serapeum and Mereruka, and the Step Pyramid, which you do have to purchase) and though Ahmad doesn’t push anything on you at all, I am going to. Buy tickets to as much as you can afford at Saqqara. The two I bought seem to round everything out wonderfully. If you have questions about what additional to opurtchase Ahmed will give you the information about what they are and then let you decide. But them.
There is no need to review the actual sites as I am not a travel guide, but as I have already said, I was truly in awe of Saqqara. All of the sites here are easy to go through and the information presented by Ahmad just makes so much more rich and alive.
Dahshur is a little less awe inspiring when compared to Saqqara in scope, but is amazing in its own way. Ahmed again, gives you the information you need and then sends you up by yourself to go through the Red Pyramid. It is a challenge - especially the very first part when you go down the ramp. It’s endless. There were folks of all shapes, sizes and ages doing it and I was the one that felt like crawling into the sarcophagus and giving up, which doesn’t say much about my being in any shape but I faked it and fooled no one lol. The Bent Pyramid is the only one I did not go into because it is the hardest and I was in no shape to attempt it. But we spent a good time walking around it and chatting about it. Again, Ahmed was just an incredible guide.
Then we went to Memphis, this was probably the least “exciting” stop on the tour though seeing the alabaster sphinx of Hatshepsut and the Rameses II statue do make it worth the visit, and knowing that you are standing in the original capital city of ancient Egypt…this history of the ground itself gives it enough reason to go.
I bought the lunch and we did that last. It was nice to get some authentic Egyptian food and atmosphere. Ahmad gives you time to yourself while you eat so I got to chat with my mom back home and just enjoy the moment. Plus the tour is a very full day and you do work up an appetite so I got to just chill and enjoy myself and wind down a little.
So, do I recommend this tour? Absolutely. ABSOLUTELY.
Do I recommend Ahmad? Ahmad made this day what it was. It would have been so much less had it not been for Ahmad. He knows when to be present and give you guided information and take pictures and answer questions. He also knows when to give you your space to allow you to just absorb your surroundings and experience the sites within yourself. He is truly a master of the tour guide craft. Doing this tour without him would be your great loss.
On a scale of 1-10 I give this tour a 10 and I give Ahmad an 11!!!!

Exciting and fun
My son and I were picked up punctually and at notice at the hotel. The guide Ahmed and the driver Sam were professional and nice. Excellent explanations. For the rest they took care of everything. Lunch was also above expectations. Absolutely recommended!

Highly recommended tour
Great experience!!! Our guide Hussam was outstanding. He is a kind and knowledgeable person, he gave us information about both the sites we visited and the history of Egypt in a clear way answering all our curiosities. We had booked the tour in English because it was not available in Italian, but he was able to speak very well in Italian so it was even more enjoyable. It is not obvious to find such knowledgeable and passionate guides and this made the tour unforgettable. Very kind and helpful also the driver (unfortunately I can not remember the name). Comfortable car with air conditioning. Highly recommended tour

Dream tour with an amazing guide and driver!
5.5 stars! I had an absolute blast with Ibrahim and driver Zizo. I was researching for an upcoming novel and Ibrahim kindly tailored the tour to focus on the areas I was most keen to see (including some that were off the normal tourist route) and we literally ran to catch one bonus site that was about to shut for the day. His knowledge of Egyptian history was fantastic and he answered so many oddly specific questions. On top of that he was a genuinely great guy, joining me for an engaging lunch and sharing some refreshingly positive views of the world. Would 100% do the whole tour again!

Great trip
Great trip with our guide Mostafa Ortega. It’s definitely worth doing the separate trip to Memphis, Saqqara and Dashur rather than combining it with a pyramids visit, especially if you want to go in site a few of the pyramids and see some of the extras (we saw the Serapeum, which we’d recommend).
