A fantastic day in Cairo, full of history

We were picked up neatly on time by our guide Farah. Our driver has been driving through the sometimes chaotic Cairo all day. We enjoyed the explanation Farah gave us and she listened carefully to our wishes. She also took us to a lovely restaurant and took nice family photos of us.

Great to get more of a feel for Cairo

We enjoyed our day visiting Islamic and Coptic Cairo. The day consisted of the Citadel, four mosques, a synagogue, two churches and the bazaar. Ahmed was our guide and did an excellent job, explaining what we were seeing, taking photos, guiding us through local customs and never rushing us. He has a very good manner, and never put pressure on us to do things we didn't want to do (we always had the option of saying no. We also really valued the private nature of the tour, and being able to trust a reliable driver amid the chaos of Cairo's roads. One small suggestion - it might be worth exploring whether it's worth adding on the Coptic Museum as an additional option, given how close it is to some of the other sites. But all in all, a very good day!

The finest introduction to Cairo's layered history — not to be missed!

The perfect complement to the Pyramids and GEM. This tour brings Cairo's Coptic, Islamic, and Jewish history vividly to life. Ahmed, our guide was exceptional: knowledgeable, warm, and wonderfully flexible. The Hanging Church and the Citadel alone are worth the day. Seamless logistics, superb experience. Unreservedly recommended.

A Perfect Day Exploring Coptic & Islamic Cairo

We had a wonderful private full-day tour of Coptic and Islamic Cairo. Our guide, Farha, was very knowledgeable and explained everything in a simple and interesting way, which made the experience even more meaningful. She planned the day very well and took us to all the key sites without feeling rushed. We also visited Khan Al Khalili market and a place to get good quality papyrus, which we really appreciated. The driver was also very professional and made the journey comfortable throughout the day. Overall, it was a smooth, well-organised, and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore Cairo in depth.

Great spiritual tour of Cairo

My guide Abeer was very friendly and accomodating. The program was precisely followed and she helped me find the best clothing shop. I can recommend!

Interesting city, disappointing tour

This was a fine tour. Our guide gave us some details about the sights but mostly just left us to wander by ourselves. The lunch is filled with tourists, so don't sign up for it thinking that you're going to be experiencing an authentic lunch in Cairo. It's all tourists. Our guide dropped us off at Khan el-Kahlili about 3 hours before the tour was scheduled to end. I would say that this is a good tour if you want to speed through some sights, but it's not worth it if you're really interested in the culture and history of Cairo.
