Dont search any further

Dont search any further. Mohamed is your must-have tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and willing to take your learning experience to the next level. His passion about history and archaeology are truly one of a kind. We didn't have a clue about the history of Egypt and now we are going back home feeling that we actually do know things and do appreciate the depth and grandieur of Egypt's history. He was even Willing to teach us how to read the hieroglyphics. During the tour we felt we have a close friend around, who gave us time to rest, do shopping. Add to this that he offered to take us dozens of pictures. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Mate.

Great whole day tour

Hussam our tour guide was friendly and hit just the right balance with the tour - lots of information but not overwhelming. Great to do the quiter sites as well as the main Giza pyramids. Definitely recommend! Ali the driver did a great job of negotiating the crazy traffic safely.

You must book this tour!

cannot recommend this tour enough. We booked the Private Full-Day Tour: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Saqqara & Dahshur on Viator, for today. 26/09/2026. Booking was simple, price was very reasonable. The day went perfectly. Before the day we received confirmation of the vegetarian meal as requested. Last night we had a further communication confirming everything. The guide and driver arrived early to pick us up but stressed that they were waiting and there was no rush. Our driver was very efficient and courteous throughout the day. Ibrahim Allam our guide for the day spoke perfect English. He made sure that we were happy and our needs were met frequently through the day including water, taking photos, getting the best views for photos etc. His knowledge about the Pyramids was phenomenal, we got such an education. Nothing was rushed, we could spend as much time as we wanted to at each site. The lunch that was arranged was very tasty, it was the national dish of Koshari and we were very impressed with the recommendation. We were collected at 7.30am and returned home at 4pm so it was a full day and a day we will never forget. Highly recommend booking this tour and ask for Ibrahim.

Best tour in Egypt!

This was our best tour in Egypt. Mohammed Saleh (not the football star) picked us up right on time for our day. He was so efficient getting us past the large tour groups, and having worked at the Pyramids in Giza as an archaeologist, he knew so many people there, and so much cool information about the area. Even though we saw the pyramids from afar from our hotel, seeing them up close was awe-inducing. No question the great pyramid is a world wonder. Just incredible. Mo provided great context about each site both about building the Pyramids but also about how archaeologists have learned about the Pyramids. At Saqaara and Darshur, we went inside tombs and pyramids and learned about daily life, and learned how to interpret some hieroglyphics. We also stopped at a few workshops to see how they made papyrus and rugs. The only drawback is that we had lunch at a restaurant at the end of our tour. I recommend bringing a little snack (date bars worked for me).

Private is worth the extra cost

Our private pyramid tour was an experience not just a viewing of the pyramids. Hassum gave us history, facts, great photos, and let us experience the pyramids. Private tour is worth the extra cost vs the big tour buses.

Brilliant day out with Ibrahim and Nassar

Booked this for me and my wife and it was easily the best thing we did in Cairo. Ibrahim messaged us the day before to confirm everything and was actually waiting outside our hotel in Zamalek 15 mins early which we appreciated. Drop off back at the hotel was just as easy. We did Dahshur, Saqqara and then Giza in the one day and it never felt rushed. Ibrahim is really knowledgeable and very patient, and he knew exactly where to go and what time to be there so we kept missing the crowds. At one point we were the only two people in one of the tombs which was unreal. Lunch was really nice as well, with a view looking straight out at the pyramids. Nassar was a great driver, always waiting for us with the air con on when we came out which you appreciate in that heat. Honestly don't hesitate to book!
