The museum’s modern design combines contemporary architecture with ancient motifs, providing a stunning setting to appreciate Egypt’s cultural legacy.
Embark on an unforgettable journey to the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest and oldest of the Giza Pyramids and the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. Standing at an original height of 146 meters, this architectural marvel was constructed over 4,500 years ago as a grand tomb for Pharaoh Khufu. During your tour, you'll explore the intricate design of this ancient masterpiece, from its massive limestone blocks to the internal passageways that reveal its extraordinary engineering. Learn fascinating stories about its construction, purpose, and the mysteries that continue to intrigue historians and archaeologists today.
Discover the fascinating Pyramid of Khafre, the second-largest of the Giza Pyramids and a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture. Built over 4,500 years ago for Pharaoh Khafre, this pyramid is distinguished by its unique design and the remnants of its original smooth casing stones at the summit. Standing at 136 meters, it appears taller than the Great Pyramid due to its higher base on the Giza Plateau. Your tour will delve into the history of its construction, the advanced techniques used, and its connection to the Great Sphinx, which is believed to bear Khafre’s likeness. A visit to this iconic site offers a deeper understanding of ancient Egypt's grandeur and ingenuity.
Explore the Pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest yet most charming of the three main Giza Pyramids. Built over 4,500 years ago for Pharaoh Menkaure, this pyramid stands at 65 meters and is renowned for its intricate construction using granite and limestone. Despite its smaller size, it showcases exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, reflecting the significance of the pharaoh it was built for. Your tour will reveal the pyramid’s fascinating history, its unique architectural features, and its role within the larger Giza complex. Gain insights into the legacy of Menkaure and the enduring mysteries surrounding this ancient wonder.
Experience the breathtaking panoramic view of the Pyramids, where the majestic trio of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure stands proudly against the desert backdrop. This vantage point offers a perfect opportunity to admire the grandeur of these ancient wonders together, capturing the essence of the Giza Plateau in its entirety. The panoramic spot is ideal for photography, providing a stunning perspective of the pyramids aligned in harmony with the vast surrounding landscape. As you take in the view, your guide will share fascinating stories and historical insights, making this moment an unforgettable highlight of your visit to Egypt.
The Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of King Khafre are two of Egypt’s most iconic and mysterious landmarks. The Sphinx, with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, is believed to represent King Khafre himself, standing guard over the Giza Plateau. It is one of the largest and oldest statues in the world, measuring 73 meters in length and 20 meters in height. Nearby, the Valley Temple of Khafre, a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture, was once used for royal funerary rituals. Its massive limestone blocks and well-preserved statues provide a glimpse into the grandeur of the Old Kingdom. Together, these sites offer a fascinating insight into Egypt’s ancient religious and architectural legacy.
Later visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), located just minutes from the Giza Pyramids. As the largest museum dedicated to a single civilization, GEM offers a fascinating journey through 5,000 years of Egyptian history. Explore the expansive exhibition halls at your own pace, guided by your private English-speaking guide, and admire over 100,000 artifacts, including the complete treasures of Tutankhamun. The museum’s modern design combines contemporary architecture with ancient motifs, providing a stunning setting to appreciate Egypt’s cultural legacy.
Step inside the main galleries to marvel at the intricacy of Egypt’s art, from colossal statues to detailed jewelry and sarcophagi. Your guide will walk you through the thematic exhibits that trace Egypt’s political, cultural, and religious evolution. The highlight of the tour is the Tutankhamun collection, where you will see the iconic golden death mask, ceremonial artifacts, and personal treasures of the boy king. This immersive experience allows you to gain an in-depth understanding of one of Egypt’s most fascinating pharaohs, while the museum’s state-of-the-art conservation labs ensure these treasures are preserved for generations.

The private tour with Mona was excellent. She is very knowledgeable, answered to all our questions, and let us decide the pace of the tour. She waited for us while we had a lunch break and we never felt rushed. She was also kind enough to take photos of us. We highly recommend her for any activity in Cairo or surroundings.

Our first trip to Egypt was something we’ll never forget—and that’s largely thanks to our incredible guide, Asma. We were staying in Sharm and booked a day trip to Cairo to see the pyramids. Naturally, we felt a bit nervous heading into such a busy, unfamiliar city, but from the moment Asma and our driver picked us up at the airport, we felt completely at ease. They both took such great care of us throughout the entire day. Asma guided us through Cairo and Giza with total professionalism and warmth, showing us all the best spots around the pyramids while sharing fascinating insights into ancient Egyptian history. Her knowledge is truly remarkable—she explained everything from hieroglyphics to historical context in a way that made it all come alive. We learned so much, and it never felt overwhelming—just genuinely exciting and engaging. The day was perfectly planned. We visited a few local shops, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and finished at the Grand Museum, where Asma once again brought everything into context with her deep expertise and passion. Even after such a long day, she remained patient, attentive, and thoughtful—especially as we were exhausted from all the travel. At the end of the day, she made sure we got back to the airport smoothly, and saying goodbye was genuinely hard. Asma made us feel safe, welcome, and completely looked after from start to finish. We honestly couldn’t recommend her more highly. She made our first experience of Egypt unforgettable.

Unfortunately/fortunately, this was our first tour in Egypt and they set the bar really high. First, the vehicle was clean and the driver was nice and helpful. We were traveling with elderly family members plus a kid and he was helping with getting them down the van step and opening the door. You would think this is standard but we learned the next tour day that it isn't. Our guide, Amal was flexible on our private tour to accommodate things we prioritized like getting lunch at 9pyramids and shopping for certain things. She was proactive in taking our many picture requests and always advocating for us whether it was getting our camels , getting to the front of the line to buy tickets, or shopping for the best prices. Our elderly family members were walking slow so she also waited patiently and assisted in getting them golf carts as well. Most importantly, she was very knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions. We trusted her and her company so much that after our 2nd day tour with another company turned out disastrous , we asked for her help in getting transfers etc. Price was actually very reasonable and good value. Definitely recommend.

If you want a super loving, attentive and complete guide, Yas is your guide. The truth was that it was an excellent day, we felt super protected and accompanied as if she were a friend of us. Super recommended experience. We made the experience all inclusive and ate very well, we didn't have to worry about the tickets and made us know a lot about the culture of the city.

My guide Ahmed Elsayed, was the most knowledgeable, interesting, helpful and considerate guide anyone in Cairo could want. He knew more about the pharaohs and their wives than they knew themselves. He made it a totally outstanding tour along with his driver Ammar, who maybe should be driving in the Paris to Dakar race, the way he could get through the tight and rough spots, on the roads Cairo.
