What you'll see

  1. The Pyramids Of Giza
    1 hour

Later visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), located just minutes from the Giza Pyramids. As the largest museum dedicated to a single civilization, GEM offers a fascinating journey through 5,000 years of Egyptian history. Explore the expansive exhibition halls at your own pace, guided by your private English-speaking guide, and admire over 100,000 artifacts, including the complete treasures of Tutankhamun. The museum’s modern design combines contemporary architecture with ancient motifs, providing a stunning setting to appreciate Egypt’s cultural legacy.

  2. The Great Pyramid of Khufu
    1 hour

Embark on an unforgettable journey to the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest and oldest of the Giza Pyramids and the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. Standing at an original height of 146 meters, this architectural marvel was constructed over 4,500 years ago as a grand tomb for Pharaoh Khufu. During your tour, you'll explore the intricate design of this ancient masterpiece, from its massive limestone blocks to the internal passageways that reveal its extraordinary engineering. Learn fascinating stories about its construction, purpose, and the mysteries that continue to intrigue historians and archaeologists today.

  3. Pyramid Complex of Khafre
    30 minutes

Discover the fascinating Pyramid of Khafre, the second-largest of the Giza Pyramids and a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture. Built over 4,500 years ago for Pharaoh Khafre, this pyramid is distinguished by its unique design and the remnants of its original smooth casing stones at the summit. Standing at 136 meters, it appears taller than the Great Pyramid due to its higher base on the Giza Plateau. Your tour will delve into the history of its construction, the advanced techniques used, and its connection to the Great Sphinx, which is believed to bear Khafre’s likeness. A visit to this iconic site offers a deeper understanding of ancient Egypt's grandeur and ingenuity.

  4. Pyramid of Menkaure
    30 minutes

Explore the Pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest yet most charming of the three main Giza Pyramids. Built over 4,500 years ago for Pharaoh Menkaure, this pyramid stands at 65 meters and is renowned for its intricate construction using granite and limestone. Despite its smaller size, it showcases exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, reflecting the significance of the pharaoh it was built for. Your tour will reveal the pyramid’s fascinating history, its unique architectural features, and its role within the larger Giza complex. Gain insights into the legacy of Menkaure and the enduring mysteries surrounding this ancient wonder.

  5. Panoramic View of the Pyramids
    30 minutes

Experience the breathtaking panoramic view of the Pyramids, where the majestic trio of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure stands proudly against the desert backdrop. This vantage point offers a perfect opportunity to admire the grandeur of these ancient wonders together, capturing the essence of the Giza Plateau in its entirety. The panoramic spot is ideal for photography, providing a stunning perspective of the pyramids aligned in harmony with the vast surrounding landscape. As you take in the view, your guide will share fascinating stories and historical insights, making this moment an unforgettable highlight of your visit to Egypt.

  6. Great Sphinx
    30 minutes

The Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of King Khafre are two of Egypt’s most iconic and mysterious landmarks. The Sphinx, with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, is believed to represent King Khafre himself, standing guard over the Giza Plateau. It is one of the largest and oldest statues in the world, measuring 73 meters in length and 20 meters in height. Nearby, the Valley Temple of Khafre, a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture, was once used for royal funerary rituals. Its massive limestone blocks and well-preserved statues provide a glimpse into the grandeur of the Old Kingdom. Together, these sites offer a fascinating insight into Egypt’s ancient religious and architectural legacy.

  7. Grand Egyptian Museum

  8. Grand Egyptian Museum
    1 hour

Step inside the main galleries to marvel at the intricacy of Egypt’s art, from colossal statues to detailed jewelry and sarcophagi. Your guide will walk you through the thematic exhibits that trace Egypt’s political, cultural, and religious evolution. The highlight of the tour is the Tutankhamun collection, where you will see the iconic golden death mask, ceremonial artifacts, and personal treasures of the boy king. This immersive experience allows you to gain an in-depth understanding of one of Egypt’s most fascinating pharaohs, while the museum’s state-of-the-art conservation labs ensure these treasures are preserved for generations.

  9. Grand Egyptian Museum
    1 hour

Conclude your GEM visit in the grand courtyard, home to monumental statues, including the colossal Statue of Ramses II, carved from a single block of red granite, and the world’s first hanging obelisk. Stroll among these masterpieces while enjoying panoramic views of the Giza Plateau in the background. Pyramid and Grand Egyptian Museum Tour with Rania

We had a wonderful trip with Rania! My mom, dad, fiancé, and I took an approximate 7 hour trip touring the pyramids and the grand Egyptian museum! Rania, and Driver Mohammed arrived to our hotel in advance and provided clear communication that they were ready and available for departure. They had water for all of us and a very comfortable air conditioning car. We went to the pyramids first, where Rania took us to the entrance gate and shared in great detail what we would be seeing. She was exceptionally knowledgeable regarding ancient Egyptian history and was able to answer all of our questions during the pyramid and museum tour. She and Mohammed were well organized, had each stop mapped out perfectly and were always ready to pick us up at each stop without delay! I highly recommend this tour, especially with Rania!

Wonderful day exploring the heart of Ancient Egypt!

We had an amazing day discovering the Giza Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the GEM Museum, and it couldn’t have been better organized. The tour started right at the Giza plateau, where our guide, Sameh, a highly knowledgeable Egyptologist, brought every monument to life with fascinating stories about pharaohs, ancient engineering, and Egyptian beliefs. The camel ride with panoramic views of the pyramids was an unforgettable experience — surreal and peaceful at the same time. Lunch was delicious, with a stunning view of the pyramids right in front of us. Later, at the Grand Egyptian Museum, Sameh guided us through some of the most remarkable artifacts with enthusiasm and depth, answering all our questions and sharing insights that made history feel alive. A special thank you to Sameh, not only for his expertise but also for his kindness and his talent behind the camera — he took some truly impressive photos of us throughout the day! Highly recommended for anyone who wants a well-paced, insightful, and memorable experience in Cairo.

Fun and Informative Private Tour

We enjoyed a very personalized and fun private tour with Max to the pyramids of Giza/Sphinx and the new Grand Egyptian Museum. Max was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Even though only 1/5 of the GEM’s exhibits were open to the public, it was still more than enough to occupy a full afternoon. Can’t wait to go back again to see the soon to be opened King Tut exhibit!

This tour was absolutely...

This tour was absolutely fantastic! I booked this tour during a very tight layover, but thanks to our amazing tour guide Ahmed and driver Yenami, I had the best possible experience. They were both incredibly kind and, most importantly, extremely flexible with my limited time. Ahmed and Yenami made sure that despite my strict schedule, I was able to fully enjoy both the magnificent Giza Pyramids and the incredible Grand Egyptian Museum. Ahmed's knowledge was superb. He brought the history of both the Pyramids and the museum's artifacts to life with clear and fascinating explanations. Yenami's driving was also very comfortable and professional, making the transfers stress-free. I highly recommend this tour—especially to anyone with time constraints or first-time visitors to Egypt. Ahmed and Yenami are the perfect team!
