The Best!

The tour was fantastic. We only stopped once there and back for a quick break. There is a toilet on the bus as well. We had 1 hour and 40 minutes to explore the 2 temples because we didnt do the guide (tell your guide that once your all in there so you dont have to wait and he will let you go and tell you when to be back). That was more than enough time! When the tip envelope gets passed around on the bus back, its not mandatory BUT your guides/driver deserves a tip because they are up at 3am everyday doing this and its hard work and they do a great job and are super friendly. So even if you tip 100egp($2.) Thats better than nothing. The bus was back in Aswan by 4:30pm, but it also was the people on the bus who didnt come back on time from viewing the temples so I blame them. I would suggest not having to leave Aswan before 6pm just to be safe on time. Thanks again!

Okay, but a little better

20 minutes late for the pickup this morning. A little waiting to buy tickets on site but English guide provided. (French selected when booking)

Amazing!

It was a long road but it was totally worth it, when we arrived they even explained about the temple. Just take into account that you are picked up earlier than the time it says in the app (4am) but they were understanding and there was no major problem.

Good Price, but Poor Time Management

The price was a great deal considering it’s a long journey. However, the pickup was almost an hour late, and several of us were left waiting at the same spot with no seating and no clear communication, which was quite frustrating. The tour company also didn’t respond to text messages until much later in the day. Once we arrived, we were only given one hour to walk around — even though it seemed like it was supposed to be two hours. Because of the delay, the visit felt very rushed, especially after spending about eight hours total in the car. If there are other tour options available, I’d recommend going with a different company.

Should be renamed not nice tours

These guys are extremely unprofessional and don’t care for customers. I have been on many group tours and nowhere have I seen the operator waiting for 1 hour for customer pick up. The maximum operators might wait is 5-10 minutes. They also informed about tour start time at 11:30 pm instead of the committed 10 pm. I would urge anyone thinking about them to not give them any business.

Abu Simbel

It’s a unique experience that requires quite a bit of effort, as it takes about 8 hours round trip to spend only one hour at the destination. However, it offers something different and memorable

Formal Complaint and Refund Request – Abu Simbel Day Tour by Nice Tours

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a highly unsatisfactory experience with a tour I booked through Viator — Abu Simbel Day Tour operated by Nice Tours. (Booking reference # 1316151709) Despite booking and full payment, I received no confirmation of the pickup time or location until midnight before the scheduled tour. After several unsuccessful attempts to contact the operator, I was finally provided with the driver’s phone number. When I called, the driver informed me that he had never been told to pick me up. This serious mismanagement and lack of communication left me stranded and unable to join the tour I had paid for. To avoid losing my entire travel plan, I had no choice but to make another booking at the last minute with a different provider, at my own additional expense.

Beautiful Site, Poorly Organized Tour

We started our day at 4 AM for the 4h45 drive from Aswan to Abu Simbel. The boat staff kindly prepared a breakfast box (no water included). Unfortunately, we were delayed 30 minutes leaving Aswan. When we arrived, we met our guide, Abdul, but he left us at the ticket office, and we couldn’t find him again. We ended up doing the tour on our own. I even wrote to Nice Tour asking for help, but got no reply. We only found the guide on our way out — he gave a 20-minute explanation at the museum and then pushed us to give him a 5-star review. The driver took two 30-minute breaks (one each way), reducing our time at the temple. He didn’t speak English and was also asking for tips despite the long stops. Abu Simbel itself is absolutely amazing and worth visiting, but the organization of this tour was disappointing and needs improvement.
