Super fun day!!
Our guide Fakhry Mohamaed was the perfect, energetic, fun loving guide for this type of tour! As others have mentioned in their comments- the morning starts pretty slow. It took us 2.5 hours from pickup to the 4x4 vehicles, but we believe some of this time was due to a national holiday. Either way, pack your patience and plan your time appropriately because it’s worth it once you start!
Snacks and water bottles were purchased along the way which came in handy as our adventures started.
A 4x4 ride into the wadi el ryaan national park including a complementary drink (tea/coffee) stop, camel ride near the lake, and pictures of the waterfalls. Dune bashing in the 4x4s, “hiking” the top of the mountains for amazing desert views, delicious bbq lunch, and sand boarding was all so much fun! The local “Egypt rap” was a highlight in our vehicle!
The slow start to the morning meant we were rushed getting back for a late hotel checkout (6:00pm), but our guide and driver did everything they could to make up time for us. A highlight of our trip for sure!

FUN IN THE SUN!
Don’t miss this tour! I had a BLAST! The sites were gorgeous. They will help take a zillion pictures,
and the day is jammed packed with fun. We did so much! This was a full day of bliss. I can’t say enough. I would just advise you to take this tour before you leave as you won’t be disappointed. You will see beautiful sites, and do a bunch of fun things. The sand boarding was the best! TAKE THIS TOUR! I have memories that will last a lifetime! Thanks for a fun day!

The best trip in my life ever! 200% recommended!
My guide Fakhry is the best tour guide I’ve ever seen - he is super helpful, knowledgeable and really took care of me during the whole trip. Even though I did not ask for, he helped me to take lots of wonderful pictures and prepared all the things I might need in advance. Not only that, I am a solo traveller and what I love Fakhry most is he genuinely enjoyed the time with me, making me feel like I am going on a trip with my friend!
My drivers Tarek and Ali are also super nice and really took care of me during the trip - I really loved the music they are playing in the car and the safari was amazing!
Besides, I really loved the arrangement and Sandboarding is the one I like the most - would like to play that again! 200% will come back again! Highly recommend this tour and the guide! Thank you for all the arrangement!

An amazing oasis experience
An amazing trip to the desert oasis. The dune riding in the 4x4 was spectacular, the bedouin meal was surprsingly delicious, the camel riding fun and the scenery was intensely beautiful. Rami the guide was excellent.

Good day but too expensive
The driver was on time and both him and the tour guide were very friendly.
It took 2 hours to drive to the 4x4 and then we were in the car for about another hour where we went 'dune bashing'
We saw the waterfall which was beautiful and had a camel ride which was great (and much longer than expected)
We then saw the magic lake, went sand boarding which was fun and ate lunch (the nicest of all the tours we've been on)
Although we had a good day, we'd probably say that it isn't worth the price we paid for the ticket as it was quite expensive.

Amazing experience in the desert!!
I started my unforgettable trip to Egypt doing this tour to the desert from Cairo. Such a great experience on a 4X4, trying delicious barbecue lunch in a camp, camel ride and learning a new skill doing sand surf.

So ein wunderbares Erlebnis?
Das ägyptische Dessert, insbesondere Fayoum, verdient es, mindestens einmal im Leben erlebt zu werden. Diese Erfahrung war unglaublich, wir haben uns in dieses wunderschöne Dessert aus dem 4 x 4 verliebt, den magischen See oder die Aussicht von der Spitze der Berge … alles war möglich, weil Khaled unser Führer, unser Fahrer und unser geworden ist Freund. Wir sind ihm sehr dankbar dafür, dass er so nett, beschützend und liebenswert ist. Er hat uns dazu gebracht, das wahre Ägypten in einer Woche zu entdecken, und wir sind sehr sicher, dass wir wiederkommen werden, nur um mehr Zeit mit ihm zu verbringen, denn wir sind uns ziemlich sicher, dass er uns mehr über dieses unglaubliche Land wissen lassen wird.

Ein Muss!
Super lustiger Tag in der Wüste! Es war wunderbar, aus der Stadt herauszukommen und die wunderschöne Wüste, Sanddünen, Seen und Wasserfälle zu erleben. Die 4 x 4 s waren keine Jeeps, sondern ziemlich alte Fahrzeuge. Z hat großartige Arbeit geleistet, als er durch alle notwendigen Kontrollpunkte navigiert hat, da wir Amerikaner sind, und er hat uns gesagt, dass es besondere Anforderungen gibt. Bei dieser Reise geht es wirklich um die Reise… darauf zu vertrauen, dass die Menschen Sie auf ein einzigartiges, einzigartiges Abenteuer ins Unbekannte entführen. Ich kann diese Reise nur wärmstens empfehlen! ! ! Es war einer unserer Lieblingstage. Ich stieg auf die Sandbretter und ab ging es die Düne hinunter! 4/5 wegen der Verwechslungen mit Fahrzeugen und Guides… aber wir haben es geliebt!

Fantastic Day At A Desert Oasis
This was an incredible day in the desert. Our guide Ahmed provided an interesting narrative as we drove from Cairo through Faroum toward Wadi Al Rayan. We then embarked on a short camel ride, a short hike to the waterfall and a more strenuous hike up one of the hills for a view. We were joined by Mohamed, a member of the local tribe, who drove us through sand dunes, treated us to a traditional bedouin lunch and taught us how to ride down sand dunes. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who enjoys outdoor activities and natural beauty, and wants to visit a preserved desert oasis.
