Wirklich lokale, wunderbare Erfahrung mit tollem Essen und Gesellschaft!
Wir buchten diese Tour in letzter Minute und wir waren so froh, dass wir es taten. Wir besuchten während des Ramadan, so war es besonders, das Fastenbrechen mit der lokalen Gemeinschaft zu erleben. Von Anfang bis Ende ging unsere Reiseleiterin Mila darüber hinaus, um dies zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis zu machen. Sie kümmerte sich sehr um unsere Gruppe, führte uns durch verschiedene lokale Restaurants und lehrte uns über ägyptische Küche (herzhaft und süß) und kulturelle Normen. Wir fühlten uns wie Mila eine lebenslange Freundin. Ich empfehle dringend, diese Tour für ein echtes lokales Erlebnis zu buchen.

Great local experience - thanks Magy!
We had the best time with Magy, it was very special as she brought us to enjoy an iftar event with the locals as well as experience delicious authentic foods in a non tourist area. It was a real taste of real life in Egypt and Magy was extremely knowledgeable about the customs and all things Egypt.. 10/10 recommend !

Super expérience et gastronomie très riche !
Le food tour était super, nous avons fait plusieurs stops et découvert des quartiers du Caire très vivants durant cette période du ramadan. Notre guide est d'une extrême gentillesse et disponible pour nous expliquer les différents plats et quelques points d'histoires. Allez y les yeux fermés !

Fantastisches Erlebnis und unglaublich reichhaltige Küche!
Die kulinarische Tour war großartig, wir haben mehrere Stopps eingelegt und dabei sehr lebhafte Viertel von Kairo während des Ramadan entdeckt. Unser Reiseführer ist überaus freundlich und erklärt uns bereitwillig die verschiedenen Gerichte und einige historische Details.

Die Essenstour war...
Die Essenstour war absolut erstaunlich. Wir haben die Tour während des Ramadan gemacht und unser Guide hat die Tour damit begonnen, uns in ein lokales Restaurant zu bringen, um am iftar (Frühstück, aber nachts) teilzunehmen - ein großartiger und sehr authentischer Start in die Tour.
Unser Guide Maegy war außergewöhnlich kenntnisreich über die lokale Gastronomieszene und sowohl das Essen als auch die Erfahrung im Allgemeinen war wirklich toll und hat meine wärmsten Empfehlungen.

Magadin war ein fantastischer...
Magadin war ein fantastischer Guide. Wir haben so viele verschiedene Lebensmittel probiert und konnten verschiedene Teile von Kairo und Gizeh besuchen und sind sogar in einem Tuk Tuk gefahren.

Fantastic tour and guide
We were very pleased and satisfied with this food tour. The guide was well educated friendly woman and she showed us so much, each stop had so many things to try, it does promise 40 options and yes it's true ! there are a lot of things that you can taste at each restaurant and also the interesting street food.
My partner wanted to try something extra and the guide happily did it and didn't ask us for extra payment or anything. Highly recommend it

Memorable Food Experience!!!!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience on the food tour hosted by Ahmed. From start to finish, she was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about Egyptian cuisine and culture.
What I loved most was the focus on local, authentic dishes—the kind of places and flavours you may never find on your own as a visitor. Every stop felt carefully chosen, offering a true taste of Egypt’s rich culinary heritage. Ahmed took the time to explain the history and ingredients behind each dish, which made the experience even more meaningful.
If you’re looking to explore Egypt through its food, I highly recommend this tour. Come hungry, you’ll leave full, happy, and with a deeper appreciation for the local culture. Shukran, Ahmed, for such a memorable experience!

This local food tour with Magy was absolutely awesome. Crazy value for money — so much food that we honestly couldn’t believe it. Everything was delicious, and Magy was absolutely amazing: fun, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend!
