The best food tour i’ve been to so far. I had a lot of fun and Magy is very knowledgeable about the food and the culture of her country. You’ll get to try a variety of specialties so please don’t eat a few hours before. Also I appreciated the fact that the tour took place in local Cairo where you wouldn’t necessarily go by yourself. Don’t miss it if you come to Cairo , 100% recommended

This walking and tasting tour is the most authentic experience one can have in Cairo. Sarah guided us through neighborhoods where everyday people live, away from the areas where tourist hotels are, and we tasted a large variety of dishes that local people eat. I loved how flexible and accommodating our guide was about any request we had. Highly recommended to anyone want to learn more about Egyptian cuisine and experience the daily life of local people.

Magy is a wonderful and heartwarming person, who took a lot more time for us than noted for the tour. With lots of love and enthusiasm she guided us through local areas of Kairo (there were no other tourists!), patiently answered our questions and let us taste sooo many delicacies. Magys tour is truely unique and Magy herself is a great and inspiring conversation partner. This authentic experience I would definitely recommend to everyone! 😊

Der Spaziergang mit Magy durch die Gassen und Restaurants Kairos war ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Magy ist eine liebenswerte, freundliche und hilfsbereite Person, die es versteht auf die Bedürfnisse von Touristen einzugehen, die das authentische ägyptische Leben hautnah erleben wollen und ägyptische Gerichte ausprobieren wollen. Dabei hat sie darauf geachtet, dass das Essen frisch zubereitet wird und somit unbedenklich für Touristen ist. Ich habe Kairo durch sie erleben können, wie ich es mir ohne einen Guide wie sie allein nie getraut hätte. Auch die Gespräche mit ihr über die ägyptische Kultur waren überaus Erkenntnisreich und interessant. Bisher war das mein absolutes Favorit-Erlebnis in Ägypten. …und ich war bereits bei den Pyramiden. 😏

Magy was a phenomenal guide. Her passion for showing people the Cairo that she knew and loved, shone through the entire trip. We ventured in to areas that are not usually visited by tourists, and she lead professionally and ensured that we were safe. I never knew crossing a road in Cairo could be like an extreme sport, but Magy made sure I was a pro at it by the end! The tour was customisable aswell to our needs and requirements, as she made sure to ask whether we had dietary restrictions and also suggested more adventurous foods for us to try. The trip to the market was AMAZING, and she facilitated conversations with local street vendors and made sure we left with whatever we wished for! Overall, I recommend Magy's tour highly, you'll have such a great time and learn so much about a Cairo that doesn't get talked about enough!

I really really enjoyed this tour. As an adventurous foodie I got to try a wide variety of dishes around Cairo. Our guide, Mila was warm, friendly and knowledgeable and could answer all questions. I really enjoyed her company and there were no false pretenses or cheesy tourist jokes, just a cool experience and so much food! She took us to many different eateries around Cairo and we ate so much food. I did the tour on day one and after that I felt that I was better equipped to make informed choices for the rest of the trip. An excellent Experience that's highly recommended Tip - try to cross the road safely LOL

I recently had an amazing experience in a fantastic solo tour in Cairo that took me off the beaten path and into the heart of the city's local culture. This experience was far from the typical tourist attractions, and it was all the better for it. Magy led me through bustling local markets where I tried a variety of delicious foods and refreshing juices, all included in the tour price. Her explanations of the cultural and historical significance of the places we visited added immense value to the trip. One of the highlights was navigating the city using local transportation like tuk-tuks and shared taxis, which provided an authentic and immersive experience. We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch together with local dishes. Magy was an amazing food guide! Her knowledge of all things Cairo, of all things cuisine, was immense. She took us off the beaten path and fed us incredible stuff we never would have found on our own, from fresh fruit to falafel to the best bread imaginable. The neighborhoods she took us through were vibrant and friendly, and we saw very few other tourists. It truly is a glimpse into Egypt through a local’s eyes. Everything was delicious and i was so stuffed by the end. Vegan friendly if needed, and I’d recommend this tour to ANY visitor

I traveled to Egypt with my oldest daughter. We visited Cairo and Giza. This food tour was our favorite part of the whole trip! Everything else on our Egypt trip was so touristy. This felt like we were truly experiencing the real Cairo. And it was a food adventure, not just a meal. Mila was a wonderful host, who did great with communication, was on time, and made sure everyone was comfortable and happy. And all the foods were amazing. We went everywhere and tasted such a large variety. All the foods were amazing and there was nothing strange or scary, just great comfort foods of all types. To be honest, we added this to our agenda as a gap filler, and it ended up being the highlight of the trip.
