Jeder in unserer Gruppe hat das geliebt. Wir haben die Food Tour mit Ahmed und Shorouk gemacht und es war fabelhaft. Probiert großartige und interessante neue Speisen aus einer Mischung aus lokalen Restaurants und Anbietern. Eine Menge gelernt und viel Spaß gehabt!

Dies war eine einzigartige und unglaubliche Erfahrung für meine Frau und mich während unseres Aufenthalts in Kairo. Eine erstaunliche Familie und einfach eine schöne Erfahrung, etwas über die ägyptische Kultur, Bräuche und Traditionen zu lernen. Meine Frau und ich gingen mit einem neu gewonnenen Verständnis für die Lebensmittel des Landes und lernten, wie man mehrere Gerichte zubereitet. Dann saßen wir alle zusammen und brachen Brot und lachten und am Ende des Abends waren echte Bindungen entstanden. Kann es jedem empfehlen, der Kairo besucht

We had such a wonderful time at Shorouk & Ahmed's home. They were so welcoming and kind. We felt very quickly integrated in the experience. We cooked, ate and had very interesting discussions about the food, the culture and different customs. This experience was the highlight of our trip in Egypt, you can't go more authentic than this. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to be immersed in a fantastic Egyptian family and eat delicious food. Maroua & Sophie

It was a great experience to cook and eat with Ahmad and his family, I can recommend this absolutely. It was like visiting friends and especially our 9-years-old son liked the food and very nice place a lot. Thanks a lot for all and see you soon again in Cairo!

Amazing experience with Ahmed and Shorouk's family. We helped cooking several different authentic Egyptian dishes and learned about Egypt. The food was delicious and we had a wonderful evening.

Ahmed and Shorouk made us part of their family for one evening. We cooked together and learned how to prepare some Egyptian dishes and had a delicious, fun dinner. They told us so many little and big stories about life in Cairo and showed us the quarter when they brought us back. And we got to do basketing! Very fun to learn about this!

Ahmed and Shorouk are gems! They made us feel taken care of from the first time they contacted us and like a member of the family who is always welcome to come by! Their personalities are very warm and they were genuinely interested to get to know us. We were having so much fun, the time flew by so quickly. And to top it off, the food is delicious even while taking into consideration our dietary restrictions! This is an experience unlike anything else I've had because it was personable and lowkey like being around old friends.

My host family was very friendly. I enjoyed not only the food but also the conversation. The children were friendly and I felt like I was welcomed as one of the family. They have a wealth of experience and a spirit of service to entertain their guests. It was an unforgettable experience in Cairo!

Amazing experience and our highlight of Egypt! Ahmed and Shorouk are amazingly friendly and open minded and from second one we felt very comfy with them. We had the most delicious traditional meal that was upon request made completely vegan for us and we were sitting together for hours talking, learning a lot about each others culture. We are still in contact and keep that experience as a special memory for uns :)

Ahmed and Shorouk were amazing guides. They taught us so much and shared so many great foods and stories with us— plus they’re a lot of fun and such kind hosts. If you’re in Cairo, this is a must do (and highly recommend for the beginning of your trip so you know where to go back to for food later!)
