We were so fortunate to have had Tamer as our guide for this fabulous tour. His knowledge and professionalism were second to none! His suggestions for excursions allowed us to have a trip of a lifetime! We would recommend him and our tour to everyone ❤️

We really enjoyed our tour with our guide Tamer. There is a lot to see over 4 days and we felt Tamer helped us see the most important/interesting things (some of the temples are huge!), and his suggestions for daily itineraries worked well. Our ship, Iberotel Crown Emperor was excellent, great cabin, good food and friendly staff. Journey To Egypt arranged all tickets and transport for us which made for an easy trip. One thing I would suggest is improved is the communication from them as we didn't receive any acknowledgement to some of our emails prior to the trip starting. But the trip itself was very enjoyable and we learned a lot about Egypt and its history.

We had an incredible time visiting the sights with our brilliant and knowledgeable tour guide John. Would highly recommend! John was very helpful in guiding us through these three days. He organised our transport to and from the ship, all of the tickets for entry, and gave a brilliant tour at each location - so much to see! The boat was very nice, clean and the food options were really good.

We had an excellent experience with Journey to Egypt. The Nile Cruise was very good with neat cabins and very tasty food. We enjoyed watching the scenery from the boat. Our guide, John, was excellent. He guided us expertly through the many bucket list items on this cruise. John has vast knowledge and always tried to keep us in the shade where possible and tried to beat the crowds. This made a difference in how we experienced the attractions. He answered provided the right level of detail and answered our questions. There were a few times our entry tickets did not scan at attractions but John managed to figure it out and we had a great experience. We strongly recommend Journey to Egypt and our guide John. Thank you for the memories!

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful time on our Nile River Cruise, in large part due to our outstanding guide Mena! He was professional, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgable about the ancient temples and monuments he took us to. The ship's staff were friendly and attentive and the wonderful massage was just what was needed after a day of site-seeing in the Egyptian heat. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

My husband and I loved everything arranged by Journey to Egypt! We had wonderful guides/drivers and assistance with all airport transfers. John in Luxor and Valley of the Kings was so knowledgeable and efficient; Merna in Cairo was charming and gave us every detail about the important sites; Romany in Aswan was terrific. Our 3-day dahabiya Nile trip was a delight! Calm visits to smaller sites, a true sense of the river, lovely family style meals with our small, interesting travel companions, helpful staff who wanted us to enjoy their culture and their vessel. We did, indeed, enjoy it all very much! I would only add that communication can be slower than we're used to in our fast internet world. Fear not! It all worked beautifully. We thank each of those who made our journey magical.

Wir waren zu zweit auf der Nilkreuzfahrt von Assuan nach Luxor. Schon seit der Buchung hat die Kommunikation mit dem Reiseveranstalter bestens geklappt, die Organisation war perfekt. Auch alle Versprechen wurden eingehalten. Uns wurde ein deutschsprachiger Reiseleiter fuer die ganze Reisezeit zur Verfuegung gestellt, wie versprochen. Wir hatten die grosse Uebrraschung, dass wir die ganze Zeit einen deutschsprachigen Fueher hatten und nur zu zweit mit ihm zu allen Sehenswuerdigkeiten unterwegs waren und auch das Taxi nur fuer uns hatten. Wir mussten uns keiner Gruppe anschliessen und es wurde sehr individuell auf unsere Wuensche eingegenagen. Die zur Verfuegung gestellten Informationen an den jeweiligen Sheneswuerdigkeiten waren sehr umfangreich. Hoehepunkte der Reise waren von den Ausflugszielen her ABU SIMBEL, Philae- Tempel, Karnak Tempel in Luxor und das Tal der Koenige. Das Reiseschiff war in allen Berichen allerbestens. Die Zimmer waren sauber, der Zimmerservice sehr gut. Die Auswahl, die Qualitaet und der Geschmack des Essens , die Abwechselung der Speisen sowie die Praesentation am Buffet haben sind den Anspruechen an diese De-Luxe 5 * Cruise mehr als gerechtet gewesen und haben unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfuellt !! Alles in allem eine perfekte Reise ! Auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert ! Anna und Christian

Booking was easy, the company was incredibly flexible collecting us from and dropping us off at different hotel locations as opposed to the standard airport. We were put on a lower rating cruise than purchased but we’re upgraded to a suite which more than made up for it. John was our guide and he was THE BEST. Very knowledgeable telling fascinating stories at each of the temples visited as well as going above and beyond buying us water and arranging further taxi rides to the airport without extra charge. Recommend using Journey to Egypt to remove all associated stress and to have a great experience
