Amazing experience with the best tour guide in Egypt.
We did the 3 night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, where Michael Edward was our tour guide for the duration of the cruise (at all the sights along the way).
Michael really is an excellent tour guide - very knowledgeable and organised. We learnt so much from Michael about Egypt and the history. Michael is very accommodating and no request is too much trouble - he is always willing to help in any way he can. His passion and knowledge of the history and sites really creates a positive experience and makes it so interesting to learn.
Beyond being an excellent tour guide, Michael is also a lovely person - very kind, friendly and easy to chat to. For example, at many of the sights one needs to pay to use the bathroom. We did not have small change, and Michael just handed us 20 Egyptian pound from his own wallet - a genuine and kind gesture!
We cannot thank Michael enough for making our time in Egypt so wonderful! We can highly recommend requesting for Michael to be your tour guide.

Immersing in Egyptian History on a Nile Cruise
We booked a 4-day cruise from Aswan to Luxor on the Sonesta Moon Goddess. The communication with "Aswan and Luxor" was excellent throughout our trip. Τhey responded promptly and were always very helpful.
The highlight of the cruise was our guide Mahmoud. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable, giving detailed explanations at every site, almost like a small “university lecture,” and helping us connect the different parts of Egypt’s complex history. On a personal level, he was also very attentive and considerate, for example, he respected our concerns about using horse carriages and always made sure we were comfortable.
Based on this great experience, we also booked a pyramids tour in Cairo with the same agency. Unfortunately, the experience there was quite different. The guide seemed to have little enthusiasm, the visit felt rushed, and we often had to ask for more information. Overall, we received very limited historical context, which made the experience less enjoyable.
That said, when we raised this with the agency, they responded professionally, which is why we still give 5 stars. "Aswan and Luxor" is a trustworthy and well-organized agency, just keep in mind that the overall experience can depend a lot on the guide.

The best tour guide in Egypt!
The cruise was absolutely amazing. I traveled with two friends, and with a total group of five people, the experience felt perfectly sized—comfortable, personal, and a lot of fun.The boat staff was incredibly friendly, but what truly made this experience exceptional was our tour guide, Michael Edwards. Michael is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also genuinely kind and attentive. He took care of every detail and made sure we were enjoying ourselves at every moment, which made the entire experience unforgettable.Michael was respectful, funny, and clearly an expert in his field, but beyond that, he was a fantastic companion throughout the tour. I cannot recommend this cruise—and especially a tour with Michael Edwards—highly enough.

Fantastic cruise, temples and the best guide
Absolutely fantastic experience! We had the very best experience with Michael Edwards as our guide! He is si knowledgeable, funny and kind, he definitely made our trip an unforgettable one. The cruise (Renaissance) was comfortable, food was really good and staff was friendly. Super recommended (ask fin Michael E!)

Nile Cruise and Tours
Our Nile cruise and tours were interesting and well organized. We enjoyed our rooms and the food, only complaint was that the WIFI was terrible to non existent. Our guide was Mahmoud Marty who was friendly, knowledgeable and on time for all tours. Good experience.

Amazing educational experience
We booked a 4 day cruise from Aswan to Luxor less than 24 hours in advance due to a sudden change of plans. Despite this, the company managed to get us a spot on the Steingenberger Minerva. The booking process was very straightforward with Hany being very responsive, even responding in the middle of the night.
During the cruise, we had tours at each location with our private tour guide and egyptologist Ahmed Helmi Ali. We were extremely lucky to have Ahmed as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us great overviews of all the monuments we visited and thoughtfully answered all of our answers. We felt cared for and protected from aggresive tip requests. Ahmeďs own passion for the history and ability as a storyteller was what made the cruise so memorable and magical. If you are keen to learn about Ancient Egyptian history this is the tour for you.

Ahmed Sliem ist der Guide, den Sie wollen
Wir machten eine 3-tägige Kreuzfahrt von Assuan nach Luxor und Ahmed war unser Guide für alle Ausflüge. Wir hätten nicht auf ein besseres hoffen können.
Er hat ausgezeichnete Kenntnisse der gesamten Geschichte für jeden Standort, aber ist ebenso kundig, wie die Dinge jetzt funktionieren.
Neben den informativen und unterhaltsamen Besuchen von Gräbern und Tempeln war es ein echter Bonus, die überfülltesten Zeiten an den Standorten zu planen, die besten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu beraten, bei Verhandlungen zu helfen, einen fairen Preis zu finden und auch aktuelle Themen zu erklären. (Er hat einen wunderbar trockenen Sinn für Humor.)
Ahmed hat uns wie Familie fühlen, während wir den ganzen Stress aus Touren nehmen. Er hat eine angenehme und unvergessliche Erfahrung geschaffen und wir hoffen, dass viele andere auch diese genießen werden.

Excellent service, great food and superguide
We had a wonderful time on the cruise, everything from pick up at the airport to visit to all sites were super well organised. The boat was clean and tidy with friendly staff and great food. And we had our private guide Ahmed Sliem, who was very knowledgeable friendly and funny and gave us a real in depth experience at all the historical sites. Even though it during the Ramadan he was with us during the days without food and drink which must have been hard. He also explained about the Egyptian culture and people and helped us by nice souvenirs that were locally made and for a fair price.
All in all we had an excellent experience and can highly recommend this travel agency and our Guide Ahmed.
