Simply Superb!
My wife and I recently returned from a holiday organized by this agency and we cannot say enough good about it! Every detail was perfectly orchestrated and there was plenty of flexibility to accommodate our needs. Our guide, Mohammed Badawy, was probably the best guide we have had in our travels through more than 50 countries around the world. His tact, attention to detail, experience as an archaeologist, and genuine excitement about the historical sites made our time with him a pure joy. He even offered to give us an 'extra lesson' on Egyptian mythology during some downtime on the ship. Because I study history, I found Mohammed's commentary on almost everything thoroughly rewarding.
Mahmoud, the man in charge, is a true gentleman and exceeded all our expectations. My wife was 3 months pregnant during this trip, and Mahmoud personally ensured that we were comfortable by arranging for us to spend a few hours in a hotel after our cruise ended. He came to meet us in person and gave us recommendations for local food. To be honest, we lost count of all the little things Mahmoud did to make this trip wonderful--bottles of water, excellent communication, SIM cards, and personal shuttles to the train station.
I'm confident you will be completely satisfied with everything coming from these people and I assure you that will find no one better to give your business to than Mahmoud.

Excellent service...
We visited Egypt in February 2018. We were two families of 2 adults & 2 children. While building our itinerary we did research on TA for 3 nights Nile cruise and contacted Luxor & Aswan Travel to explore the options. From the onset, we found Mr Mahmoud Ahmed to be extremely prompt and courteous. He gave us a good deal for the 3-nights Nile cruise aboard M/S Le Terassee. The boat was renovated in 2016 & we found the quality of the food & service onboard to be extremely value for the money. Furthermore, in the 3-nights cruise package the following tours were included:
1. Philae Temple
2. Aswan High Dam
3. Unfinished Obelisk
4. Temple of Kom Oumbo
5. Essna Temple
6. Karnak Temple
7. Luxor Temple
8. Valley of the Kings
9. Colossi of Memnon
10. Temple of Queen Hatshepust
In addition to the above, we took optional tours to a Nubian village & Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple.
During the entire tour, we were accompanied by a very knowledgeable and humble Egyptologist, Mr Ahmed Megaly. He was a gem of a person. He gave us a very good historical background of these places. He was patient and he made sure that all our needs were met.
On our last day, Mahmoud himself came to see us off to the Luxor airport which was a very nice gesture. We found him a very humble and courteous person.
We would recommend Luxor & Aswan Tours in a heartbeat to anyone in search of a reliable tour operator in Egypt providing a top-notch service. They are among the top Egypt tour operators on TA for a reason!

Excellent experience!
My husband and I had booked the 4 day 3 night cruise with Luxor and Aswan travel in the Princess Sarah II ship. Our experience with them has been excellent. Our enquiries and booking process to start off with was very smooth and efficient, Mr. Mahmoud was very responsive in clarifying any questions we had.
At the start of our trip, our pickup from the train station was very well coordinated and smooth. We were provided with a private car and a driver along with a guide for all the sightseeing trips from the ship.
But the best part was our guide Mr.Ahmed who stayed with us throughout the trip as the Egyptologist. An extremely knowledgeable person who made our tryst with ancient Egypt and its history very interesting and interactive. Our set pattern at each temple was that he would take us around explaining it's history and significance first, followed by free time for us to go around taking any photos and spending some time taking it all in. He ensured that we were comfortable at all times and gave us the right inputs and options but at the same time he let us make the decision at all times.
The ship itself was beautiful with all the amenitie. The staff is courteous and the chef was kind enough to provide us with vegetarian meals. The only minor nits about the ship would be the expectation of tips (but this is true for all of Egypt), and 2 of the after dinner parties which did not take place according to itinerary.
Overall, we would highly recommend this organization for a comfortable, hassle-free trip.

Really neat experience!
I can highly recommend Luxor & Aswan Travel. From their very prompt response to my initial email, to their dropping me off at the airport after the trip, everything was very geared toward satisfying the client and making things easy and fun. They provided an expert egyptologist guide Ayman (Simon) who served as our guide and fixer, showing us all the sights, temples and ruins and arranging everything from tickets to restaurant/shopping suggestions. He was extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history and local customs. The Sonesta St. George boat was fantastic. The cabins were top quality with open air balconies, large bathrooms with high tech steam & showers. Food was great and everyone was extremely friendly. They had Christmas decorations up all over and we felt very welcome. It was a great experience all around and a perfect way to see both Luxor and Aswan.

Very Experience, Responsive and Accommodating Travel Agent Company that I’ve Dealt With (post-travel)
My family members just returned from our 12 days holiday trips to Cairo, Aswan-Luxor Cruise and Sharm El Sheikh. The experience has been nothing but exceptional. We feel so grateful to have Mr. Mahmoud who arranged and coordinated our whole trips, paid attention to every single details and always make sure that everything goes smooth and taken care of. That included some personal requests and unexpected hiccup (loss luggage) which beyond anyone ‘s control, but he willingly and promptly responded without any hesitation. We were accompanied by very good and knowledgeable guides, particularly Mr. Ahmed Megally who was our guide during Aswan-Luxor Cruise. As you know, programme with cruise sometimes changes depends on the seasons/ weather tide/ conditions. He was very courteous, quickly communicated with us, rearranged our program and schedule and was no time to show us and explained the amazing historical sites along Nile river (having a Egyptologist traveling with you and explaining Egyptian historical sites is a must). Drivers who drove us in different cities seemed to be well-trained, very polite and drove in a safe manner.
Overall, Mr. Mahmoud professionalism and his stellar reputation supported by his team (guides, drivers) remains the epitome of first class service which go beyond one ‘s expectations. I highly recommend anyone who wishes to travel to Egypt to contact Mr. Mahmoud in Luxor and Aswan Travel.

Beautiful Nile Cruise!
We just took a wonderful 3 night, 4 day Nile cruise in the Sonesta Star Goodess ship. It was perfect. The crew, and all staff were super attentive and welcoming. The cruise is relaxing and the weather was perfect. We had booked a wonderful guide through a travel agent in Cairo, and he treated us like long lost family. A trip to remember.

Amazing experience
We were in Egypt for 7 days and we are so glad we decided to get on this 3 night cruise. We got to see the real Egypt. The ship Farrah that we got on looked like the best out there- very modern, stylish and chic. The ship staff members were just awesome and wowed us with Egyptian hospitality. Mahmoud was always there for us and was very kind to drop us off at the Luxor airport on the final day. He hooked us up with Lami- our guide. Going sight seeing with Lami could not have been better- very knowledgeable and fun spirit. We felt like we were out with a friend. We highly recommend this team. Keep it up guys!!
