Abu Simbel ist eine archäologische Stätte am Westufer des Nassersees, etwa 290 km südwestlich von Assuan. Eine der Stätten der "Nubia-Monumente", die auf der Liste des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes steht. Die beginnt in Flussrichtung von Abu Simbel nach Phila (in der Nähe von Assuan).

Beaucoup de route en arrivant d'Assouan mais cela vaut le détour ! Un travail impressionnant pour déplacer ces 2 temples immergés. Il n'y a pas de mots de les voir de ses propres yeux. Statut de 8m à l'intérieur, vraiment magnifique et bien conservé. Un de mes préférées lors du voyage.

The owner of Egypt Sansimon travel coordinated with me prior to my arrival to assure that he would pick me up at 4 AM at a specific dock in Aswan City. He came through brilliantly! Great communication. The tour was good. It’s a 3.5 + hour ride through the desert to get to Abu Simbel. Amazing site.

Nous faisons une croisière sur le Nil arrêt à Assouan Nous avons pris une option pour Abou Simbel 110€/personne 3 h1/2 de car debout 4h pour un départ à 5h Nous étions dans les premiers donc pas trop de monde Notre guide nous a conseillé d aller visiter le petit temple de suite car il n y avait personne il nous a donné les explications après la visite très bon conseil car 1/2 h après c était la foule à attendre pour rentrer dans le petit temple Ensuite nous avons pu visiter le grand temple celui de Ramses le Grand qui est beaucoup plus grand Un excellent moment A faire absolument si on va sur Assouan les 3h1/2 de car passe très vite

Après plusieurs heures de route (aller retour depuis assouan) ce temple fantastique arrive enfin, le temps de visite fut d'une et vingt minutes environ ce qui est largement suffisant, on a même eu le temps de boire un coups à la terrasse à côté du temple, avant de rejoindre le bus. Bref, faut partir de bonheur la route est un peu longue (7h aller retour) mais c'est vraiment à voir. Et merci au guide pour ses conseils précieux.

What a wonderful experience! Egypt Sansimon Travel and Tourism picked us (couple with two teenagers) up at 5am. Our guide Sameh joined us shortly thereafter to give us the history and overview of the two temples in Abu Simbel. After a three-hour car ride, we were rejoined by Sameh at the temples who explained what we saw. An unforgettable day!

Excellent trip! Sameh’s driver picked us up at 5am. Sameh shortly after joined us and gave us the history of the temple. Sameh rejoined us at the temple site and gave us a thorough explanation of what we were seeing. On the drive back, he called the driver to take us to a scenic mirage on the roadside. An unforgettable experience!

We started with Abu Simbel, from Aswan , same day trip to Luxor ( short on time) and tour in Luxor the next day. Sam was the most experienced tour guide I ever had ( and I travel a lot) . Very profesional and always in time! He went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests and change of itinerary at last second. Very reasonable prices. I can’t wait to go back! Not enough time in beautiful Egypt!

He’s fluent in English, experienced in hospitality and has wide acknowledged about the temple. He’s really good at taking pictures! I guess he studied insta to learn 😂 Ps.: chinese is such a short language 🧐
