Le rythme des visites est soutenu mais notre guide owf naggar était au top présent patient rassurant drôle et plein d’énergie
Le bateau beau rivage était très bien très propre et le personnel au petit soin souriant et chaleureux
La nourriture variée et délicieuse

J’y suis allée seule avec mes 2 filles ado et on a adoré et on s’est sentie très en sécurité

Unsere Erfahrung war großartig, die Unterkunft war perfekt und sehr komfortabel. Alle waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit auf der Kreuzfahrt.
Der beste Teil unserer Reise war unser Führer, Owf Naggar. Er hat uns wirklich das Gefühl gegeben, willkommen zu sein, und er hat sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert. Seine Leidenschaft, sein Wissen und seine Freundlichkeit machten wirklich den Unterschied!

Bellissima esperienza
Abbiamo fatto questa mini crociera di 3 notti per vedere tutti i siti più importanti del basso Egitto. Il tour operator è stato molto attento, ci chiamava ogni sera per sapere com'è andata la giornata e informaci del programma della giornata successiva. La nave non ha fatto una sosta prevista e il tour operator ha prontamente riprogrammato un'altra visita senza farci perdere nulla. L'unica cosa da migliorare è la qualità del cibo a bordo, ma l'agenzia, in questo caso, non c'entra nulla. Meraviglioso il volo in Mongolfiera sulla valle dei Re. Alla fine ci hanno fatto anche un piccolo regalo molto gradito. Tutto perfetto.

Amazing trip, huge thanks to our guide Owf
Our entire trip was incredible, and created memories of a lifetime - and that’s hugely down to our guide Owf Najar. We were a family of 12 (including two elderly and four kids aged between 8-11 years).
Cruise
The cruise ship was comfortable and clean, the kitchen staff worked very hard to accommodate for us as vegetarians.
Sights
The sights we saw were incredible - yes it was early starts but it was absolutely worth it. Abu Simbel blew us away and Valley of the Kings (we highly recommend paying a bit extra to see Tutankhamun’s tomb) was amazing as expected. The hot air balloon ride was the cherry on top with fantastic views.
Guide - Owf
The highlight for us was our guide Owf. His passion for Egypt and his history knowledge was incredible, he really looked after us like we were family and made sure we were safe and comfortable at ALL times. Best of all he was an incredible teacher who could bring history alive for adults and kids, he made sure we got the best of every historical site we visited. He communicated perfectly, made us feel home away from home, he’s a gem and does his whole country proud. I’m sure many guides are high quality but if you want extra magic I highly recommend asking for Owf.
Overall this was great value for money and we created memories of a lifetime.

Nice 4-day Tour
Our guide Ahmed is excellent. He helped us throughout the entire itinerary. I highly recommend this tour of the Nile River cruise.

Exceptionnelle expérience
Expérience à faire une fois dans sa vie! Vogue sur le Nil c’est magique! Le personnel du bateau (MOONDANCE) était adorable. Le bateau était propre et moderne, jolie cabine avec grande fenêtre, literie confortable. La nourriture était qualitative. Notre Guide Mohammed était génial, l’organisation parfaite! Seule déception a été de ne pas faire la Mongofliere car elle a été annulée en raison du vent mais nous avons été remboursées. Merci pour cet incroyable expérience

A great trip and some need to knows before embarking
Had a great experience on this cruise especially thanks to Ahmed our guide who was great. The sights are absolutely incredible and having Egypt Gift Tours run the agenda for us was perfect in a country where we personally found planning to be a challenge.
Below are a few things to know before heading onto this cruise with a west european perspective. Keep in mind we had a great time despite those observations, just an FYI:
- The boats are all the same except the Dahabyias which will cost you 5-8x and the cruise ships are all the same except the Viking Sea cruises and probably some others we didn't see. Essentially those boats seem to all be from the 80s-90s with some refurbishments here and there. Don't expect a 5-star cruise in Western European standards. The beds are comfy and the showers are clean but things are a bit dated. Food was good but you'll be eating a lot of the same throughout the days
- Don't expect to fall asleep by a sea view, all ships park next to one another and you'll most likely not see anything through your window when the cruise ship is docked. I felt there was surprisingly little cruising but when we did cruise it was absolutely magical, resting on the bed with a window view on the nile is beautiful.
- You will wake up very early so plan some time to rest after: hot air balloon wake up at 3.30, Abusimbel wake up at 3.30, Karnak temple in the morning waking up at 5
- You will be part of many cruise ships arriving at sights at once so expect some touches of mass tourism, you show up at the sights at the same time as other ships and its a race to be the first ones on site to avoid the masses. I personally regret not spending a bit more time at the sights but what can you expect from a 4-day trip. If you have time I'd recommend spending an extra night in Luxor after, the Karnak temple is mind-bendingly beautiful
