We really like the whole day we spent with Mohamed. He is a very knowledgeable and attentive person. Many historical events have been explained to us and we visited main attractions of the city. We had time for lunch with a beautiful view and visited a wonderful palace of the last king of Egypt. Compared to the other parts of Egypt Alexandria is not so old, however still very interesting.

The tour company is full of lies. You will be rushed through the whole thing. They only take you to two places and barely give you time to eat. The tour mentioned 7-8 hour tour and they only had the driver for 3 hours. All LIES

Our tour Guide Mr. Mohamed was truly amazing, with his great English conversational skills and his adorable smile. His knowledge of Alexandria, Egypt was phenomenal and he helped us gain a lot of experience in navigating the Mediterranean coastal city. But what stands out to me the most is how well he took care of us. He made sure everyone felt included. The depth of knowledge Mohamed has on any subject is absolutely astounding. He was is not only knowledgeable, but fun and always was trying to ask about the experience we wanted. The tour to see the Kom Al Dikka which is an archeological evidence of urban life in Roman Egypt, was truly fascinating. Mohamed went above and beyond to make our trip special. I would say he is a dream guide. Mohamed was able to address all our questions, whether on History, religion, politics, sports, culture or even food and shopping. He is clearly passionate about his profession as a guide. Highly recommended if you want to see Alexandria, Egypt through a new lens.

To sum up Alexandria trip was very nice thanks to our excellent guide and friend Mohammed . Excellent English very friendly and was explaining very well all facts and in a chronological manner and at the same time linking things to the present world . Full marks 5/5 to mahammed who was a terrific guide and extremely friendly , doing much more than required to ensure we had a wonderful time and got whatever we needed . Only down thing was the car arranged by Rammaside for day trip from Cairo to Alexandria was extremely old and not at all suitable for such a long journey . Just because we were the only family on this tour died big mean that such a poor arrangement would be delivered to us knowing very well that we have prepaid well in advance . We had a very uncomfortable tiring journey to reach Cairo with lots of jerks and discomforts throughout the almost five hour return journey

Pro: ( The guide ) Eventhough the journey to and back from Cairo to Alexandria is tiring, the city with its rich history was worth visiting. Our guide Mohammed Salama made sure that our day was interesting and fun with his insights. We particularly enjoyed our lunch ,a local delicacy, which otherwise wouldn't have been possible. One of the best meals we had in Egypt. The guide was considerate of our wishes and even invited us for tea! He busted some of the myths we had about Egyptian history which was an Eye opener and was patient enough to answer all our history questions eventhough it had nothing to do with Alexandria. We would highly recommend Mohammed as your guide if you are in Alexandria. 😃 Con : ( The tour company) We booked out tour through Get your guide. The communication from the tour company ( Rammaside tours ) wasn't timely and we had to keep asking questions to keep us informed on what was happening until we reached Alexandria and met our guide ! It was so unprofessional. The guide made up for all the inconvenience the tour company caused but we would've been more relaxed if we were well informed.👎
