Great Day !
We had an incredible experience on our Cairo tour, thanks to Achmed. He was extremely informative and had a truly impressive depth of knowledge—there didn’t seem to be a question he couldn’t answer. His passion and expertise really brought everything to life for us.
Achmed was also incredibly helpful throughout the day, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Everything was perfectly organized, and the entire day ran smoothly from start to finish with no waiting around at all.
We couldn’t have asked for a better guide—highly recommended!

Good day trip but bring USD or card to pay for your Cairo visa if you need one
We did this excursion with Hussien and it was great. He’s an excellent tour guide. Was glad we had him. Pleasant, lots of information and very flexible. It was a long day. Most of the morning was at the pyramids and the sphinx, they have shuttles to take you between them. Also the GEM has a lot in there so you do need more than a few hours if you want to look properly. If you can get your visa for Cairo before the trip, I’d advise that as though it was all well organised and Book Tour Egypt had people there to take care of you, it did feel hectic. They only accept USD for the visa and they can take card, I wish we knew this before drawing out EGP the day before. You can pay for the ‘stamp’ in EGP- which is another cost we didn’t know about until then. Between the pyramids and the GEM, we had lunch at a restaurant called the Queen Cleopatra Restaurant in Giza which felt like an extension of our all inclusive tbh, buffet style, rice, chicken, other meats and veg. I didn’t really like it and would have been happy to pay for something we would have enjoyed. Last time I visited Cairo and did a tour, we ate somewhere that felt smaller and more quaint Egyptian. This place was full of groups from other tours so clearly the Go To. After GEM which we finished at 6pm when it closed, we had time as our flight wasn’t until 11:30pm I later found out that the earlier flight was too early, which I suspected as it was a packed flight and people from the morning were on it. We went to the Cairo Festival City Mall and got dinner in the food court which took over an hour coz it was so hectic and where we didn’t speak the language, we kept getting ignored. The mall looked pretty but we probably should have got dinner elsewhere. Overall the tour and day was good, I’d say by the afternoon I did feel tired as we’d been out since 5:20am but found the energy to carry on at the GEM. We sat down for a bit at the food places there, which were nice, and grabbed some tea and hot chocolate before continuing. Also I should add there a lot of toilets at each site throughout the tour so plenty of opportunities for toilet breaks and they are clean. I came to Egypt nearly 20 years and don’t remember that being the case so that was assuring now coming back again with children. I’d recommend the tour and just say to prepare for a long day. I’d definitely give Hussein and the driver Mohammed 5/5 Stars. I think the rest 4 just because of the lack of info about how to pay for the visa and for me personally, choice of lunch otherwise it was well organised.

Beautiful and intense day. Great tour and great guide.
Beautiful day, we visited the most important things including the museum of GEM paying the ticket separately as not booked before. Pleasant little navigation on the Nile You have a general overview. Well organized, the perfect guide and almost personal. Great lunch in a good restaurant overlooking the pyramids.

Once in a lifetime experience!
Had a fab day from start to finish with Ahmed Sholer as our tour guide and driver Mohmmed Adula. Ahmed is very knowledgeable and made us feel well taken care of.
We opted for the Nile cruise which was a lovely way to start the morning. Pyramids were fab and Ahmed knew all the best photo spots. GEM museum we were able to have Ahmed show us and talk us through all the main attractions and had plenty of time to explore the Tut exhibit at our own pace.
Recommend 100% eventhough it is a tiring day it is definitely worth it!
