Great excursion with lots of knowledge 😁

The trip was super organized. Picked up at the hotel on time. The ride was in a comfortable off-road vehicle. Big praise to the driver and our guide, who had an insane wealth of knowledge and could give us accordingly a lot of information. THANK YOU 😊🙏🏼

A Meaningful and Unforgettable Experience

This excursion was one I had wanted to do for a long time, as the destination held special significance for my family. Travelling with my spouse and our three-year-old, we were picked up early at 6:15 AM in a comfortable 4WD vehicle. Our driver and guide were both professional and welcoming. The guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, providing insightful information on the history of Sharm, Sinai, and ancient Egypt. The journey to the monastery was breathtaking, with stunning mountain landscapes and engaging commentary about the region and local Bedouin communities. We felt well looked after throughout, with clear explanations of the itinerary and travel process. The monastery itself was a highlight, offering the opportunity to explore an ancient church and a fascinating museum with incredible views. A helpful tip—if you plan to visit the monastery shop, bring cash (Egyptian pounds, Euros, or Dollars), as card payments are not accepted. On the return trip, we stopped in Dahab for lunch, enjoying a beautiful seafront setting. It was a fantastic addition to the experience. We arrived back at our hotel between 4-5 PM, completely satisfied with the tour. Everything was well-organised, and we truly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!

Best guide in sharm!

Everything is very well planned: all the documents to pass check points on the road are prepared. The route is well arranged with places to take photos and to have a break. The car is new and clean. The driver drives smoothly. The timing of this trip is also perfect: as soon as you arrived at the lunch place and enjoyed a bit of view of the nice beach, food is served. You will leave the hotel on time and go back to the hotel as the planned time. Mohammed is a friend of local people and a knowledgeable guide. He explains the origin of sharm and St Catherine city so very well. We also booked other events like star gazing and glass boat through sharm smile. All through these events, Mohammed and his team are on site to provide support if needed. All these events are well planned and have perfect timing. To conclude, Mohammed and sharm smile is a trustworthy team in a country you are not familiar with. You don't need to worry about any schedules and just enjoy yourself with sharm smile.

A special day in the Sinai

St Catherine’s is such a special place to visit. Nabil enriches the experience by sharing his personal and extensive knowledge on the history of the area. The drive through the Sinai is wonderful and so is the lunch and stroll through the markets in Dahab on the way home. A great day and absolutely worth doing.

Perfect trip to Catherine Monastery from Sharm El Sheikh

Today's trip from Sharm El Sheikh to St Catherine's Monastery was a real highlight. The preparation was excellent, all questions were answered in advance. On time we were picked up by our driver Mohammed and our guide – also Mohammed. Catherine Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, impressed us with its history and priceless treasures: the second largest collection of early Christian manuscripts in the world, fascinating icons and unique atmosphere. Thanks to the vivid explanations of our guide, one felt transported directly into the past. We had plenty of time everywhere, and our guide was very considerate, especially when our child needed a break. After the monastery we continued to Dahab. There we enjoyed an excellent lunch in a restaurant directly on the beach with fantastic sea views and then had time to stroll. Everything was perfectly organized from pickup to return. An unforgettable excursion that we can absolutely recommend!

Couldn't imagine a more personal guide than Nabil!

We visited St Catherine Monastery with a private car, driver and Nabil as our guide. Passage through the many checkpoints was a breeze and the 3h roadtrip was cut up in very managable chunks by stopping for a roadside coffee on the way up and lunch and a mini citytrip to Dahab on the way back. Nabil is more than a guide, everywhere he goes, monastery or city, one out of three locals walks up to shake hands and greet him. He's very modest on the subject, but you can really feel he knows the land and his way around. He also has a wide general knwoledge about Egypt, religion and history in general, which makes for great conversations on the road between the visits! Communication beforehand and for pickup was very smooth through WhatsApp. Almost as smooth as the driver, whose very secure driving managed to rock us to sleep several times on the long winding roads. Very recommended!
