Quad tour Marsa Alam

We went on a dessert fox quad tour in Marsa Alam. Worth repeating!!!! A 2-hour quad bike tour through the desert and on the beach. Made 3 stops along the way for a photo shoot. Good guidance. Booked with Hassan (in orange shirt)

Eagle safari: quad biking at sunset in the Marsa alam desert

On the beach of our village (Sataya resort) there is the Eagle Safari stand where the very nice Mohammed Salah (eponymous of the famous Liverpool footballer (he proposed a tour in the desert with the quad to go see the sunset and the Bedouin tent, including dinner on site, tasting of tea, karkadè and bread. We also witnessed a small show of Bedouin folklore. We were picked up by a van and taken 15 min away to the starting point where they delivered a quad bike each. We were a group of about 40 people with 6 guides who escorted and helped those in need. Just over an hour by quad bike (with a couple of stops) and we reached the Bedouin village. They sat us in the tent and served us you and karkade. Then we went to a hill to witness the sunset stopping first to taste the famous Arab bread that two Bedouin ladies made on the spot, then for the famous camel ride. Back at the tent we enjoyed Bedouin dinner with barbecue of spiced chicken and other things. Before leaving we saw a performance of a Bedouin with a kind of big skirt that turned on itself like a madman. At the end, before leaving they showed us the starry sky turning off all the lights. Very impressive. The only thing you can breathe so much dust during the trip and you need wraparound sunglasses both (for the outward) and white (for the return at night). There is also a photographer who shoots continuously and if you want, for a fee, sells you his shots. Overall it was a nice experience, to do at least once. Greetings Mohammed Salah

Do not take this trip! There was no...

Do not take this trip! There was no visit to Bedouin tribe, and certainly no fabulous camel ride!! Bunch of lies!! You will be taken to a farm somewhere, in here you can see 3 camels really poor treated and suffering. You will be placed on top of them and go around a house and that's it!! Not even a 4min ride it is!! Then you will go into a quad bike which is slower than the camel! You will ride for 1h and won't see anything properly. I took a horse tour from my hotel and saw much much more! I was advised by the guys at our hotel this would happen that this trip is a scam and not good value for money. Unfortunately, they were correct. Trust me, do not take this trip.
