Luxor trip

We had a private trip to Luxor and everything was great! It was very well organized. The driver was on time to pick us up and was always there waiting for us to bring us to the next stop. Our guide Hoda was very friendly and has a lot of knowledge to share. She made sure all the time that we were happy. The places we visited are very impressive and beautiful. We had also a very tasty lunch. I can really recommend the trip.

Memorable experience with a great guide

What a great experience this tour was. Our guide, Hoda, was definitely the highlight of the tour. She was wonderful, very knowledgeable and spoke good English. If you have a chance to choose the guide, go with her. We had booked a car and they bumped us to a minivan without any additional charge, which was very nice. Also, we had two drivers (Sam and Haled) who took turns, given that the ride is quite long. The program (Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut and Karnak) is incredible and very doable in 6 hours, plus the food was great. The prices at the alabaster factory, unfortunately, were very high and we ended up feeling a little pressured to give a tip to the salesman since he had been very nice to us. Overall, would definitely recommend it.

Lovely day-trips

We arranged four day-trips with Marsa Alam Tours: A day trip to Wadi Al Hitam reserve and surrounding desert, day trip around Luxor (Valley of Kings, Hatsepsut temple, Karnak temples, Luxor temples), transfer from Luxor to Aswan to see Ed Fu, Kom Ombo and Philae temples en route and a half-day trip to Abu Simbel Temples from Aswan. Private trips, friendly guides, very helpful manager - Ahmed, who arranged everything for us and helped us even with Watania train reservation system. We had a great time.

Wonderful trip to Luxor

Great one day tour to Luxor. Comfortable car drive from Marsa Alam for about 4 hours - enough to have a good nap and prepare exploring the treasures of Luxor. Amazing guide Hoda, very professional and friendly lady with really deep knowledge of Luxor history, she was born and raised just next to the Valley of the Kings - so if you want a true local guide passionate about history of Pharaohs- Hoda is the one you need. Tour been accompanied by delicious local food lunch.

Excellent tour

We were collected punctually and the first guide gave us good information about what to expect from the tour. The Luxor guide was extremely informative and attentive and we got to see all the major sites of Luxor and Valley of the Kings including a boat trip and Luxor Temple, which were extras, but well worth it. The lunch was really delicious and although it was a long day, the drivers worked hard to get us back to our hotel in good time. A fantastic tour and one which I would recommend

A very nice and educational day in Luxor!

We had a great time I Luxor. It’s a long trip but it’s worth it. Our guide Ahmed Oraby was excellent, very nice and he really thought us a lot about ancient Egypt history. We were a bit worried at first when we taught that the driver, who didn’t speak much English also would be our guide. But that all cleared up when we picked up Ahmed. Thank you so much!

Brilliant day!

The Karnak Temple must not be missed, it exceeded my expectations. When crossing the Nile hold your mobile tightly, mine met watery death. Delicious lunch Valley of the Kings and other monuments well worth seeing. My Guide Hamy, was excellent, his local knowledge and ability to explain in clear English was amazing.
