We had a wonderful day trip from Port Ghalib to Luxor. Everything was very well organized, and the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. A special thanks to our drivers Talaat and Yasser. They were extremely nice, polite, friendly, and professional. They drove us safely and carefully through the journey and made the long drive very comfortable. Their kindness and service really made our trip special. Our guide was excellent as well, very knowledgaable and did know everything about Egypt.

The tour was organized down to the smallest detail. I went with my 14-year-old son. The agency provided us with a minivan with two drivers, both very kind and attentive to our every need. We met the Italian guide Samir in Luxor, who was very nice and knowledgeable, making the visit very interesting and not boring. We crossed the Nile in a felucca, the typical boat, and it was very relaxing. They then had us eat lunch at a typical restaurant on the east bank of the Nile and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this operator. Thanks for everything Mimo!

We organized a private day trip to Luxor with MARSA ALAM TOURS. With us were our three children aged 2, 13, and 17 years. From the very first contact from Italy, Amany was present and thorough, providing us with all the information we needed. They booked us an Italian-speaking guide who accompanied us on our various visits to the sites. Our driver Waheed is an exceptional, reliable, and helpful young man. We thank him greatly because, despite the effort, the presence of a very small child, and the 41-degree temperature, it was an unforgettable day for all of us. We could not have wished for better♥️

Beautiful trip with a fantastic driver, Waheed! The day was full and exciting; the Italian-speaking guide was excellent. We ate near the house of the archaeologist Carter, recommended to everyone for both the availability and the places visited. The three tombs we visited in the Valley of the Kings were beautiful, and the Temple of Karnak with its 134 columns was truly magnificent. The only point we liked less was the stop at the spice house, which could have been avoided. Everything else was very, very beautiful. We left on June 10 from Marsa Alam with a private tour in a minivan, four hours of travel in the morning at 4:00 AM, and we returned to our hotel at 7:00 PM. It was extremely hot (42 degrees), but it was truly worth it! There were six of us, two couples with 17-year-old children.

We made this day trip to Luxor together with our three children and really look back on it with great pleasure. It's a long day, but every minute was absolutely worth it. From the first moment it felt well arranged. We were picked up neatly on time and the whole day went smoothly and without stress. With three children, that is extra important to us – and that was just right here. The impression Luxor made on us is hard to describe. The moment you walk through the temples and see the Valley of the Kings is really special. You literally feel history. For our children it was not only impressive, but also surprisingly interesting. What made this day extra special for us was our driver Waheed. He rode calmly and very professionally, which gives real confidence during such a long ride. But more importantly, he was genuinely friendly, always helpful and clearly had an eye for us as a family. He made us feel relaxed all day. That may sound simple, but it really makes the difference in practice. You notice that these kinds of excursions are well organized: everything merges logically, and you don't have to think about anything. That gave us the space to just enjoy what we saw and experienced. In short: an intensive but beautiful day, perfectly arranged, and thanks to Waheed also very pleasant. We would do this excursion again without a doubt and can really recommend it to other families.

At the end of April 2026 I went to the temple of Dendera with my daughter for a day. We thought we were part of a group trip but turned out to be the only ones as the destination (unjustly!!!) is not very popular. We had a fantastic day, the guidance was perfect, super friendly driver and guide, really a great lunch. All in all a big 10, highly recommended!

Full day tour. Started at 4 a.m. and ended at 9.30 p.m., each at the hotel in Marsa Alam. Good and courteous driver, nice and very knowledgeable German-speaking guide. Surprisingly, the long journey times were not very strenuous. The program was varied and well chosen. Temple of Carnival, Colossi of Memnon, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut. Small downer: the boat trip on the Nile was not carried out by sailboat but by motorboat ("too hot and too little wind?") Since we had booked them as an extra, I would have liked better information here and the opportunity to cancel them. But as I said, on the whole quite worthwhile and well executed.
