Day in Luxur with Giuseppe

Unforgettable and beautiful day in the city of Luxur. We stayed with Giuseppe who explained everything we were visiting, even giving us some advice. Ride on the Nile very pleasant and lunch was plentiful. They are not specified in the booking but the guide also took us to typical places, such as a “factory” where the various stones work and a place where they have a variety of spices, perfumes and endless tea. Super recommended tour!!

A brilliant day

Professor Ahmed Elsisi was very knowledgeable and friendly, a brilliant guide. The day was well organised, the travel was comfortable and we felt well cared for throughout. A really good way to see Luxor in one day

Great time with Dr Ahmed Elsisi

We had a great experience in this tour with Dr Ahmed Elsisi! He was very knowledgeable and kind, as a group of female travellers we felt very safe. The tombs are incredible and the temples are fantastic - a must see for anyone visiting Egypt! We chose this tour due to the felucca ride and it was a great experience.

Highly recommended tour to Luxor

Our trip to Luxor was awesome. Mahmud, our driver was very attentive and personable. Once in Luxor, we were warmly welcomed by Mark as his personal guests. As a passionate Egyptologist, he showed us the most beautiful places and explained everything worth knowing. Mark had everything organized very well in advance, so we hardly had to wait. Our lunch with real Egyptian cuisine was also a highlight. During the Nile cruise, there is the possibility to visit Banana Island. Here you get an insight into Egyptian life. With 🐪🐒🐊 Mark is not only an Egyptologist, but an outstanding photographer. We take beautiful memories with us 😍 At the end of the day we said goodbye to Mark as a friend. Although the journey times from Marsa Alam are very long, we would always do the tour again 👍🏻. Thanks for everything.

A fantastically beautiful trip

I booked the trip with my sister at Stevens Taxi. Our personal guide Mark was already waiting for us in Luxor . We got along very well immediately. Mark told us a lot about the ancient times of Egypt, which was very interesting. This day will always be in our memory. We say a big thank you to Mark.

No Hurghada without Luxor

We had a super organized day with our sympathetic driver Mohammad and our very well informed and German speaking guide Marc, who gave us a lot of interesting information and insights. You can feel his enthusiasm for ancient Egypt, which we would never have known without him. Very nice was the visit to the Nile island. Marc had many tips for us. He is very attentive, which is why you can also tell him that you don't want one or the other item on the program (for example, a visit to a spice house or a stop for souvenirs, even if they are of the best quality). We can definitely recommend the trip with Legacy Tours also due to the very good communication via WhatsApp. The excursion from Hurghada to Luxor is always a bit strenuous due to the distance, but more flexible and relaxed with a private tour.

Full score to Legacy Tours and our guide Mark

Thank you Legacy - thank you Mark - organization, expertise and leadership at the highest level. Even the pre-communication via WhatsApp went super uncomplicated and we only had to submit our passports as a scan in advance.. We started at 2 am at our hotel in Marsa Alam. This early departure time is also absolutely necessary to fully enjoy the day. The ride in his well-maintained vehicle was fast and very safe. Arrival in Luxor was around 7am. There we were warmly welcomed by our Egyptologist Mark. In no time it felt like ma was out with an old acquaintance. With over 20 years of experience and real expertise, we were deeply impressed – gave us exciting insights into the culture, people and current situation in Egypt. Countercyclically he steered us to the absolute highlights: the Karnak Temple, the Memnon Colossi, the Hatschepsut Temple and the Valley of the Kings. He knew exactly which three of the included graves were the most beautiful. Mark also kept us charmingly intrusive salespeople off our chests and at the same time shone as our personal photographer: He knew the best photo spots. At lunchtime we stopped at an authentic Egyptian restaurant right on the Nile. The food served was really high quality and more than sufficient. All around happy we were dropped off again at our hotel in the evening. A thousand thanks to Mark, our riders and Legacy Tours for this unforgettable experience!

Highly recommended!!

We would like to thank you very much for this great day in Luxor. It was really a fantastic tour. Our guide Mark gave us an incredible amount of information and explained everything very understandably and in detail. His German is excellent, and he took the time to explain every detail. This allowed us to understand the history and culture of ancient Egyptians much better. Mark has managed to really bring us closer to Luxor and introduce us to this fascinating world. You could tell he's been there with a lot of passion. We booked this tour through Check24 and are very happy that Mark was our guide. It was a beautiful, interesting and very pleasant day that will stay with us for a long time. Thank you for this great company and this special experience!

Pretty well.

Maddalena was an exhaustive guide, you can see that she is very passionate about what she does and very prepared. Omar was an exceptional driver. However I cannot give a high rating because the program does not match what is written in the description. We were made to choose whether we wanted to see the Luxor temple or the Karnak temple even though the description said we would see both and more. The Luxor temple ticket must be paid separately (which is not specified in the description). In addition, the departure time is not at 4 as described but at 2:30. For the rest all from description.
