A magical day in a magical world!
Thank you for this magical day! To openness, to new knowledge, new experiences! Everything was great!!! Dioa guide is a kind, intelligent girl, and she's told us a lot of interesting and impressive stories. Immersing myself in the world of ancient Egypt with you was a pleasure!

Sobering
Since I chose this excursion of the provider FTS Travel because of the good reviews, I want to share my experiences.
We were picked up on time at 2:30 a.m. at the hotel. However, not by bus, as expected, but by car. When asked, the driver replied in very broken English that he would take us to the bus.
The journey took almost 2.5 hours, which was not clear before and only turned out on the way.
I would have liked this information in advance, then I probably would not have had such a bad feeling about it.
The ride was not very comfortable, the car not particularly suitable for it, even if it was a modern car.
In Safaga we changed into a small bus in which the other participants from the surrounding area were already waiting. Another drive of about 3.5 hours followed. But there were also breaks.
Around 8am we arrived at the Karnak Temple and there the tour guide Shaban greeted us. Even though he was very friendly and helpful, it quickly became apparent that his German skills were not fluent. This made it very difficult to follow or understand his explanations and explanations of the various sights.
A big downside was the fact that we were asked for the short trip on the Nile with 10 € per person in addition to the payment. Unfortunately, this was not mentioned in advance.
Lunch was ok.
Basically everything went so far well. Only the stop at the alabaster sale didn't have to be.
Around 3:30 p.m. the tour was over and the tour guide Shaban said goodbye to us. However, only after he had made sure he had received an excellent rating from everyone. Since no one wanted to disappoint him personally, because he had made it very clear that this was very important for his further orders, he was also consistently evaluated excellently. Through this review of the reviews by the tour guide, I doubt anyone was honest at all. Which, in turn, does not allow a proper insight into the actual quality of this excursion.
Since I booked this trip also due to the consistently positive reviews, but was not really satisfied overall, it is important to give me an insight.
The sights are impressive, fascinating and absolutely worth a visit. The organization and, in my view, the poor German skills of the guide were rather sobering. I would have liked to have heard more of the information about the sights and had clearer information about the process in advance.
The quasi-necessary positive reviews at the end have unfortunately additionally left an unpleasant aftertaste.

Excellent trip for family of 4
We had a wonderful experience today, vehicle was waiting for us on time, everything very well organised. Our tour guide Nana could not of been more helpful, she kept our 10 year old twins entertained and corrected them on the discovery of Tutankhamens tomb which they had learnt at school. As our twins are very fussy eaters she even arranged for the restaurant to cook them some french fries. Thank you so much, would highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely worth it!!!
Everything toptop organized, punctual, entertaining and informative. Even if the ride was a bit bumpy at times (road conditions), you felt safe. We expressly thank Shaban, who was always approachable and explained everything wonderfully to us. Thank you!

Well worthwhile
Would highly recommend this tour with FTS travels and tour guide Nana.
The booking office was very helpful in sorting everything out and pick up/drop off was easy and well communicated.
The tour includes The temple at Karnak, valley of the kings (with access to 3 tombs) & Hatshepsut’s temple. We also added on the Tutankhamen tomb. There is not a lot to see and maybe doesn’t warrant the extra €30 add on but we felt that we may as well seen as we were probably not going to be in the area again anytime soon!
We also added the Nile boat tour, nothing spectacular but was fun nonetheless!
Nana is very well informed about all things Egypt and made the tour experience run seamlessly.
