Full Day Private Luxor East & West Bank Tour With Egyptian Lunch

Overview

This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate to all the mentioned sights with your own private guide. You will explore Karnak & Luxor Temple East Bank Valley of Kings & Hatshepsut Temple West Bank

What you'll see

  1. The Karnak Temple
    2 hours

Karnak is an ancient Egyptian temple precinct located on the east bank of the Nile River in Thebes (modern-day Luxor). It covers more than 100 hectares, an area larger than some ancient cities.

  2. Luxor Temple
    2 hours

Constructed over hundreds of years by Amenhotep III, Ramses II, Tutankhamun, and other pharaohs, Luxor Temple was the largest and most significant religious center in ancient Egypt. In what was then Thebes, Luxor Temple was “the place of the First Occasion,” where the god Amon experienced rebirth during the pharaoh’s annually reenacted coronation ceremony.

  3. Valley of the Kings
    3 hours

The west bank of Luxor had been the site of royal burials since around 2100 BC, but it was the pharaohs of the New Kingdom period (1550–1069 BC) who chose this isolated valley dominated by the pyramid-shaped mountain peak of Al Qurn (The Horn). Once called the Great Necropolis of Millions of Years of Pharaoh, or the Place of Truth, the Valley of the Kings has 63 magnificent royal tombs.

  4. Temple of Hatshepsut
    2 hours

At Deir Al Bahri, the eyes first focus on the dramatic rugged limestone cliffs that rise nearly 300m above the desert plain, only to realise that at the foot of all this immense beauty lies a monument even more extraordinary, the dazzling Temple of Hatshepsut. The almost-modern-looking temple blends in beautifully with the cliffs from which it is partly cut – a marriage made in heaven. Most of what you see has been painstakingly reconstructed.

Dream come true tour in Egypt

Fantastic tour! Knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptian History. Azab is the best guide you can ask for. He was with us for the whole Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor and then both banks in Luxor. Azab brought the history of Egypt to life with lots of interesting stories and facts about Ancient Egypt. He knows all the best spots for photos and stories and is great at navigating the crowds that can happen in temples. He has 20 years of experience and clearly loves Luxor which means you will love Egypt and Luxor by the end of the trip! Absolutely recommend taking this tour and booking with Azab!

Amazing Egypt

The favourite part of the tour was the Hot Air balloon experience. The Nile cruise was ok but we enjoyed visiting all the temples much more.

3 Night Cruise Aswan to Luxor

My husband and I took this trip and we had a great time! Ahmed Awad, our guide, really made the trip worry-free. We chose to add an excursion to Abu Simble to our trip but we never felt obligated to add anything extra or buy anything. It was really fascinating to learn so much of the history about all the places we visited and even have some heiroglyphics translated for us.. this isn't possible without a guide. I recommend this trip and checking to see is Ahmed is available.

3 day cruise

I enjoyed our visit to the spice shop in Aswan and the stone shop in Luxor as well as visiting the monuments. Ahmed Awad took good care of us and made sure to explain fair tipping prices and barter prices. Be prepared to tip often.

I Love Egypt!

I had a wonderful trip to Egypt! Our guide Azabe stayed with us from Luxor to Aswan! He was so knowledgable and friendly. He made the experience extra special because he knew so much history and had a way to bring the stories to life. If I come back I will tour with him again. I rate my trip with Jakada tours a 10/10.
