I went on this trip with my best friend because I found my friend feeling depressed. She and I came back feeling like we were born today. No sadness, no depression, no worries. The trip was more than wonderful. The places are extremely beautiful. Also the atmosphere is very enjoyable and makes you feel active and energetic. I bet it won't be the last time.

Sailing from Luxor to Aswan felt like stepping into a dream. I traveled with three friends, and every moment was unforgettable. The ship offered top-notch facilities, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Our guide brought history to life as we explored temples like Edfu and the Valley of the Kings. The highlight was definitely the hot air balloon ride, which provided breathtaking views of Luxor at sunrise. Highly recommended!

The tour was wonderful. Guide: My guide Ahmed put a lot of effort into making me have a good time. Programme: In the morning, the various sights were on the program. From noon there was time to relax on the ship, enjoy the Nile and the sunset on deck. Ship: clean, large cabins, a bit old. Food: sufficient choice and always fresh Crew: sometimes a bit obtrusive given to me as a single woman Top: Hot air balloon tour - don't miss it, just unique and unforgettable Dispensable: Abu Simbel: 8 hours drive for 90minutes sightseeing: I would do without that next time. Roxana: always available at any time with questions, I started a day later than booked/planned, I would have liked to have spared the stress of rebooking flight and hotel. Price/performance: fine. The matter is not particularly favourable. Those who are more price-sensitive can book on site and spontaneously. Everything can be organized at short notice.

The cruise ship was spotlessly clean, and every detail was meticulously organized. January turned out to be a perfect time for this journey, as the weather was mild and pleasant for exploring the temples. The crew provided exceptional service, always with a smile. I want to give special thanks to Ahmed, our tour guide, whose expertise in Egyptology and engaging storytelling brought ancient history to life. From the moment we stepped on the ship, everything felt luxurious yet welcoming. The hot air balloon ride over Luxor was truly the highlight—a breathtaking experience of floating over the Valley of the Kings. The modern amenities onboard and the delicious meals ensured we were comfortable throughout. This cruise is a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and cultural discovery. I left with incredible memories and newfound respect for Egypt’s history. Highly recommend this journey to anyone seeking a mix of comfort and exploration.

BOAT: Booked ultra-deluxe, received cabin in Jaz Regent (not on list) - high quality, clean, great food, super-friendly crew, enjoyable, included belly dancing + other events including NYE, but cabin noisy near engine; 8 out of 10. GUIDE: Mohamed Kader - personal guide not group guide, outstanding, super-friendly, patient, articulate, experienced, ex-archaeologist, made a huge difference; 10 out of 10. DRIVERS: excellent, bespoke/personal car travel not group bus travel, Egyptian traffic is crazy and Abu Simbel road traffic is outright dangerous; 9 out of 10. SIGHTS: Amazing… wow! Mohamed minimised queues and maximised time. Many fascinating insights. Recommend adding Nubian Village in Aswan with mint tea & sunset view over Nile - an unexpected highlight. Balloon trip cancelled (bad weather), but refunded and more time at Valley of Kings (asked to see tombs KV 9, 17, 2, 11, 14); 9 out of 10.
